Best pelvis anatomy explanation ❤
👌🌈Such a treasure trove, this teacher and embodimemt, Simon!
Amazing sir🎉
As Qigong teacher & an "Enlightenment Dancer" I totally agree with this description of how to create your own exercise program! A+! 💃💓🤸👍💖
Surely watching the breath and watching the pauses ,without trying in anyway to control them , gradually leads to awareness of Prana …….
🙏👌🌟what a treasure Simon Borg Olivier is!
Like this one
Amazing as always Very impressive A lot to absorb and learn from my favorite yoga king.
Just a simple question: i practice Chen style taijiquan . I have been teaching Yoga for A decade now . For me fusing components parts of those two disciplines become essential. Would you recommend practicing the forms using Ujjayi breath? I do. It feels fantastic! My taiji tribe don't want to hear about it...They are all about what we call "reverse breathing". What do you think about that? Please help me to clarify this. I would be grateful. By the way, I am a big fan of yours! Namaste.
your making all this way too complicated .
🤣🤣
Have you ever come across someone with CFS / m e. That youve cured
Simon, in you, we have such a treasure. 🙏🌈 This is exactly what I wish would be considered by every modern school of yoga instruction.
Are you saying cardio exercises are bad?
they are not bad as such, but too much is likely to reduce immune health and longevity - I think that a good balance is doing one to 10 minutes of practice with increased heart is ok for every 100 minutes of conscious embodied practice where your heart rate is low but your blood is flowing - that's a good balance.
@@SimonBorgOlivier make sense. Thanks
Thank you Simon ❤
How is it possible to perform the other type of mula bandha? The one in which abdomen pushes outward and looks like a ball?
The simplest way to elicit this with natural movement is to stand and press the fingers into the lower abdomen. When you lean backwards from standing you’ll feel the abdomen push out. You’ll notice the same when you do a leg left from śavasana or in navasana. With practice you can send this expansion to the low back at the same time as low abdomen and it feels very relieving. One other vital occurrence of the expansive mūla bandha is in upluthih, pandulum pose
Thank you. 🙏
Loving your videos!! Are you part Maltese, I see that your surname is borg :)
Yes you are right i have been doing it the same way as you saying and i could concentrate on my meditation more properly but one day i decided to see for tips in UA-cam and says focus on your breath and take a deep breath and started doing it from that day onwards while I'm concentrating more on my breath i couldn't focus on my meditation
How many times we watch whatever of your precious material we learn new things , thank you for sharing your experiences.
That is so hard to do
I believe this .. Also add clean up the GUT
My favourite Yoga teacher I’ve never met!
Great video Simon. Thank you so much. Would you mind sharing your views about Ujjayi breath technic and applications?
Can you please elaborate on the connection to the diaphragm? And how this Mula bandha inhibits breathing? And what are the 2 muscles you point out??
Thank you for the video.
This was so invaluable. I didn't know this concept of yoga (being able to experience the shavasana feeling throughout the practice) mind blowing to me.
Stay away from someone not trustworthy 😊
Awesome ! Thank you very much. Hope to study with you in person one day.
Thank you for the SI joint release tips. Do you have a video with SI joint strengthening exercises?
wonderful - somehow we have lost real Yoga - thanks for a re-turn. I come from India/yoga but had turned to qigong - u are marrying the two it seems. Cheerio!
Thank you !
How do we trust
Awesome thank you very much!
Only could see the top part of your chest I have seen you do it before I try to do it in the morning after getting up .
So its not bad to have a bowl of rice and beans in smaller moderation? Im trying to creat a diet plan leaning towards fruit. Im experimenting how to do this as an active working and training athlete (Judoka). It was only within the last year I have broke free of the myth of needing protein, supplements, and powders.
simply brillant
What you share is the true essence of yoga which was the reason I first started to practice Hatha Yoga 50 yrs ago. Somewhere in time along the way to the present modern day, it has got lost an changed into a robotic trend - working from the outside rather than the inside. Thank you for restoring my values of yesteryears.
You say (more or less) the same thing everytime. But every time I learn something new 🙏
Man you're brilliant.
Sorry if the question sound silly but maybe I've misunderstood your explanation...during the exercise you suggest to breath-in while straightnening and breah-out while bending the knees but at the same time is not important to necessary syncronize the breathing with the position (it should happen naturally), is that correct?
Hi simon, do you do one on one zoom consultation? Ive have quite beapoke issues that i think needs addressing before i startvany course?
We can't wait to have you here in Gozo spreading your teachings xxx
I don't like stretching but i keep remind me no pain no gain.
you are such a wonderful teacher! bringing your profound perspective as a loving information, with a smile in your heart!! totally feel it, resonate and also pulk my ear a bit! i hope one day i can meet you in person and learn more!
❤ Thank you for sharing.
such a pleasure - thanks for your interest
"Savasana all throughout the practice". I loved that too.
