Exploring Bishop And HDR Photography. Sharing A Trade Secret. Our First Day Scouting
During Western Wanderlust more than half the photos were shot as HDR photos. Our modern phones use similar techniques to get the photos they do. We call it computational photography. The phones can not match the lens quality of a professional camera or the light gathering of a full frame sensor. The answer is to enjoy both technologies. The foothills around Bishop are very interesting. Clouds and rain are coming... Mule Days photo credited to Wikipedia.

The night sky images were single captures. I let the sensor push the colors. I wanted art not exact colors. It’s possible to get a good image of the stars almost every time with these settings: a 25-second shutter speed, an f/2.8 aperture, and an ISO of 1600. The most fundamental component star photography settings is the 25-second exposure. Since you’ll be shooting in darkness, you need a long...

This has broken my heart in 2020 when I got ill I had no choice but to go online for churches I thought Calvary Costa Mesa Chuck Smith what could be wrong well every Sunday it got worse and more woke and more progressive but I thought okay it's okay they're still talking about Christ the last year however has been the worst when pastor Charles came on and I fell asleep at every service wondering why I felt like I was in a college course taught by professor and had nothing to do with the Bible then I heard him on pastor's perspective downplaying the Jewish people and their right to Israel and they don't believe in the Old testament and then I heard Chuck Smith and then heard a lot of other pastors and I can see clearly Brian brodersen is a smug his God is his intellect his degrees his feeling that he's better than everybody else he doesn't believe in the Old testament it's past say has nothing to do with the New testament that no one needs to hear about the rapture or anything about Israel which I'm looking at that and thank God for Jack hibbs because he teaches verse by verse and by the way I'm back at pastor Clark and he teaches verse by verse and I feel it and I feel like I'm being fed again Brian brodersen is so smug he really wanted that Calvary chapel money into right off the coattails of Smith cuz he knew he couldn't do it on his own I really feel if he had any dignity as a human being let alone a so-called Christian he should have put the flag down as a Calvary chapel and called it brodersen and chars new theology or college course

The calvary chapel pastors are lukewarm. The last day I entered a Calvary Chapel church was on the Sunday after New York approved the 3rd trimester abortion till the day of birth and even 7 days after, it became okay to perform a legal abortion. Not one word was mentioned by the Calvary Chapel minister, while the word of God states that it is murder. Just like Joesph, I ran from sin and great deception. . I ran away from this lukewarm church to never return. This church is in God's hand and judgment for its deception and silence on this great sin, with motives to save a buck on their taxes, perhaps that is their true God- money 💰

Calvary Chapel was broken decades ago. The theology that they taught was a product of the dead protestant church. Gog did a work with them 55 years ago and they were going off of fumes for decades. Stop looking towards the past. Stop looking for yesterday's manah. Look to where God is today and stop bemoaning that which God has moved on from.

Juan , I agree with you. From a business point of view Broderson couldn’t manage a newspaper stand let alone a large church. Don’t be surprised if you see a for sale sign on the corner of Mac Arthur Blvd and Fairview in the near future. Broderson has sold off most of the other assets of CC. Why is that? It took 6 decades to build that church to what it was under Chuck’s guidance. It’s clear Broderson had very little respect for Chuck and the congregation. Look how fast he changed the entire format once Chuck passed. Broderson is all about himself. If these were his intentions, which obviously they were. He should have started his own church. But, he couldn’t. He needed CC’s cash. And that is what this really about. It’s about the money he got his hands on. Cheryl Broderson should really be person being called out here. She got into her dad’s ear a long time ago because she knew how much her dad adored her. She got her dad to hire this huckster and from there Brian and his smugness went to work. He removed board members that wouldn’t co-sign with him and brought on the one’s that would. This place should be called Brian’s World Temple of Orange County. And the cherry on top is Broderson has brought his boy in to take over as the senior pastor. Can you say nepotism? What took 6 decades to build , this guy has basically destroyed in one. And Broderson could care less.

I don't know any global anything or any big ministries that aren't bringing in ecumenitical teachings and unbiblical teachings. We really have to go church by church to see if their biblical sound teaching. So sad because most people coming to Jesus don't really want to be in a sound doctrine church. Because only the astrophysicist can read the 2nd book of infallible authority CORRECTLY: The Book of Nature. Spiritual Leader Dr. Hugh Ross Religion is NOT sola scriptura, but scriptura PLUS BOOK OF NATURE. His RELIGION is the Religion of BILLION of YEARS of EVOLUTION PAIN and SUFFERING. The god of SPIRITUAL LEADER Dr Hugh Ross is a god of BILLION YEARS of pain, suffering, and death. This is NOT FOUND in the BIBLE, but in the mind of Dr Hugh Ross based upon his reading of the BOOK of NATURE as astrophysicist. I was at the north rim, exact same camp site (Demotte) in June - first time. Completely agree on the point to dress warm. I was very lucky to bring a pair of jeans and a hoodie, because when the sun sets it goes from extremely hot to cold, and I mean piercing sun to frigid. I was with a group, and did a few hikes, but ultimately never care to go back. I'm not a big fan of standing near large cliffs when winds are outrageously high and our caps are tough to keep... but moreso I couldn't deal with all the people testing their limits out there. Standing inches from a cliff, on an incline, with loose dirt beneath their feet as though they are rooted and cannot lose their balance was making my palms sweat. Love that you enjoy the place. I'd rather just go snowboarding and skip the canyon - photos are more than enough for me for this place.

You need to read your Bible please, not YEC websites: Day is not the same as 24 hours, not in the past and not today. The earth is not about 6,000 years old and the Bible does not teach this. Hebrews 4:9-10: "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his." This tells us that the 7th day Each believer are to enter into day 7. Also there no "evening and morning" for the 7th day. As day 7 as not ended. Biblical Hebrew has a limited vocabulary, with fewer words compared to other languages, such as English or Spanish. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is: Sunrise to sunset Sunset to next sunset Time period of unspecified length. (long time span ). We use the word day the same today: In my grandfather’s day cars did not go very fast. I work the day shift. (Both are not 24 hours) Deuteronomy 33:15 and Habakkuk 3:6 "ancient mountains". Gen. 2:4 “in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens” The events of day 6 can not have happened in 24 hours. Creationism does not equal young Earth. There are many Old Earth creationists.

Genesis was written in Ancient Hebrew, not English. There was evening and there was morning, the first day. Gen 1:5 What do you call the afternoon before this evening? There is only 12 hours between evening and morning, not 24. You cannot have an evening without a rotating Earth and the sun. The same is true for a morning. Does the sun rise / set, or does the Earth rotate?? The Earth was not dark because there was no sun, it was dark because God wrapped the Earth in clouds.

Please read the Book of Job. The Bible tells WHY the earth was dark and why God said “let there be light”: Job 38:9 When I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness. We now know this is about oxygen levels. With low oxygen on earth, one can not see the sky. As oxygen levels went up the air went from dark to translucent to clear.

We ate camping nearby at a coe park for 14 a night with our senior pass, regularly 28. There are numerous coe parks in the area that are still affordable; old 89, Indian point, cricket creek where we're staying. All still very affordable. Try looking again. 14 campgrounds.

Huh, we have stayed at the Big Cedar Lodge cabins before and they did not cost that much per night. Why in the world would an even glorified tent cabin cost that much. We heard coyote packs howling all during the night close to our cabin too. It was kind of scary and creepy so would not want to be in a tent there.

Just returned from Shell Knob, stayed at Kings Harbor Resort. 200$ a night, Kings River Marina is 5 minutes away. Beautiful area, low boat traffic, grocery store and restaurants close by.Rented a nice tri-toon for half a day for 350$. Spent roughly 1200$ for 3 days, not cheap, but doable.

I attended CCCM from 1994 to 2002. I also moved on due to a job. When I was going there..there was teaching on Campus literally 5 nights a week. Sunday day, AND night with Chuck, Monday nights with Greg Laurie, Tuesday nights was David Hawking, then replaced with "New Believers", Wednesday evenings again with Chuck, Thursday evenings with a guest pastor, Friday evenings was movie night in the main sanctuary. All of that is now gone! Such a shame. They don't even have an evening study on Sunday night's anymore. I don't know the specifics but when I visited their website recently I was disappointed and dismayed. Chuck was my pastor, and a part of me stills feels a connection to his love for the study, and preaching of the scriptures. Everything at Calvary Costa mesa flowed from that. So what has happened to the focus on the teaching of God's word there?
