100% great analysis. With the transfer portal it’s a more individualistic mindset rather than a team mindset. Players get some heat, they hit the portal. Add NIL, you’re a professional player now, and expectations of your performance increase dramatically. Add the popularity of sports betting and the fans now have a monetary investment in your performance. Finally add the passion of BBN on top of that and you have an explosive cocktail. The fans are Team First and the players are Me First. Pope is the man in the middle and his job is to infuse the passion of the BBN into the players and that’s no small task.

Ky needs defense they have a major missing player actually 2 with krissa out so we see the point guard. Being whoever can dribble the ball we need them back and to quit worrying about offense and concentration on defense they don’t deserve to go to the tournament little alone go to the sweet 16

You don't understand? How do you not understand? It's called DEFENSE, and that's it. Look at the damn box score man, statistically we beat them in every aspect of the game except for DEFENSE. We even out rebounded them 37 to 29. We only had 8 turnovers which is good for a 40 minute game, but they only had ONE. Our DEFENSE only forced ONE turnover. They out shot us by 4%, but we out shot them on threes by 4%, the problem is we gave them 9 more three pointers than they gave us, Again, that's DEFENSE. You guys need to quiet down and looks at the stats and you'll learn something.

From what I see is the team doesn't have their leader on the floor in Butler. The team appears to be lost and looking at one another searching for answers. I don't think the team realized just how athletic and defensive sound the league is. This is almost like culture shock in my opinion. Butler is the key folks. And getting up on defense. If not, we will be a 9 seed in ncaa and one and out.
