excellent video sir thank you
excellent
6:12 The date changes at midnight but the day is 5am.. supossed to be changes the day & date both at midnight?
Cool
You have already unwind the crown. This is what you should have said. First unwind the crown by turning counter-clockwise, and show the procedure.
Probably the best video for the beginners
Helped me set my new watch, thanks
Hello may I know why my automatic watch can wind, can change date, but cannot change time... Does it mean it is broken?
Just got my new seiko5, im new to automatic watches and this video really helps. Thank you!!
I think I broke mine 😅
One question guys when i screw in the crown i hear the sound of like when im winding the watch im new to this and i really dont want to damge the threads
By far the best tutorial there is. Thank you!
Thank you for your help. Rochester, nh, K
Thank you for this!
On my watch, the day number switches to the next one within a few minutes of midnight. Day of the week, however, seems to change sometime between 2-4am. In the video, I noticed that it switched to "Sun" at about 3am. Is this normal? Shouldn't it change exactly or close to midnight?
I have a Whittnauer automatic watch and I took it to a jeweler to set the date and he did, then after a couple of months it went to Spanish...a multilingual watch?
Thank you that was very useful with my Sharp Quart..apparently the calendar was set by the jewelry repair guy..but but mine also has French days too! How fun
Mine only changes the date when the crown is fully open??
THANKS FOR POSTING!
My diver seiko has arabic and english
What do you mean you wanted it 4-5am ? You didn't say "we wanted it 4-5am ??????
Great video. Thanks
Everyone made it so confusing and for over a year and a half I never use the day and date function because I didn’t wanna break it thank you this is the best video extremely appreciate it you are the best
thanks, just set my Seiko 5 according to this
Thanks a lot. Precisely informative!
THANKYOU!! Just got a Hamilton Auto, and worked perfect!
Thanks Mate I have the same model found it in a box on the loft yesterday havent been used for 15 years still works amazing watch
Brutal. Skip
Too long
How do I get the second hand accurate when it never stops moving unless I turn crown counterclockwise to hold it in place? (At least that what mine does.)
I just got an automatic watch and out of the box the watch was set to around 11:45. I went to pull the crown out to second position to change time of day and as it when through the first pull to change the date it accidentally shifted the date, it was unavoidable, looser crown. Does this hurt the watch?
The best video tutorial ever. Thank u soooooo much ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is this for all seiko? I have a SUR307
If a date gear brekes on the NO-DATE(phantom date) automatic watch, then it is not a big deal or what? The rest of a movement then works fine?
Thank you!
OMG thank you so much! I managed to change the language, date and time on all my Seiko watches thanks to your video
Thanks a lot!! It’s really helping!
Alex, that's exactly what I needed. Clear, concise and perfectly explained. Best video yet for this type of adjustment on a Seiko. Thanks.
Are all watches the same? Spring the crown right(up) to move time forward.
It was so helpful tnks
It was very helpful and easy to understand. Thank you
What even?
I didn't know about not reversing the dials and I thought it was never change the time between certain times meaning I had to wait but now I know it's just putting the hands in to the 6.30 position. Useful thanks sir 👍
I have a Citizen Automatic Divers Watch. Trying to set the correct date was driving me nuts! I downloaded two different manuals to try and make sense of it, and they did not... But you did! Thank you Alex!!!
Thanks a bunch!!!
Thank you SO GODDAMN MUCH!
That was very helpful. Thank you
But how does the watch know how many days this month have it's 28 days or 31 days
Thanks really appreciate it
