Working On Eleven
United States
Приєднався 25 сер 2020
Working On Eleven means we're doing our best to grow our family to eleven children. Having a family and being parents has many challenges. Working to have a large family puts you in the category of "insane" by most of societies standards today. Our goal is to not tell you what to do but to show you what we're doing to learn and grow as a family. We hope it helps inspire some ideas for you but don't blame us if anything we say doesn't work! We offer absolutely no guarantees!
Setting RV For The Cold Weather
Setting up your RV for the cold weather or winter was a challenge for us. We had seen what others had done, reviewed a bunch of videos, and decided to document what we were doing. We're staying in one place during this time and if you're moving from place to place that's different. Since we're living in our RV full-time we needed to figure out how to live with the cold.
From this setup, the only thing that we had go wrong was a plastic pipe that had a bit of water stuck in it froze and broke. It was an easy repair. If we didn't do these things I'm sure with it sitting in color weather for several months we would have had worse damage.

We're excited to show off our RV bathroom renovation. It's night and day difference from what it was originally. Even though we had a few leak issues we're glad that everything now is working well. Renovating your RV bathroom can be a big challenge. To be honest, we didn't really look in the bathroom as we first walked through the RV. It was probably because we just figured we'd be renovating i...

RV Generator Cleaning Mistake! Power Outage!
Переглядів 2974 роки тому
I went to go clean my RV generator and made a huge mistake! I had a friend suggest that I clean my RV generator. It was pretty dirty and I found a bottle of engine foam that seemed straight forward to use. Little did I know that my RV generator cleaning experience would turn into a big mistake that resulted in our power not working at all for 2 days! So if you're looking to clean your RV genera...
Twin Fountain Oklahoma City RV Park Review
Переглядів 9574 роки тому
Here's our review of the Twin Fountain RV Park in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. It's definitely a great part to stay at. It has most of the things we were looking for: a nice clubhouse, clean laundry & showers, playground, well-kept grounds, and more. There was a couple of things that we wish would have been better. The internet was terrible, and the space between our rig and our neighbors was really...
Painting The Roof Of Our RV - RV Renovation
Переглядів 2014 роки тому
In this video, we're going to show you how we went about painting the roof of our RV. When we selected our RV to renovate we didn't realize how much water damage would be there. That's when we knew that we needed to do something to the roof to prevent further issues. If you're like us, the idea of painting the roof of the RV seemed daunting. Luckily we got some help at Home Depot. There's a spe...

There's one thing you need to know during your RV renovation of your piping or plumbing, RV piping is just different than regular home piping. It's weird. When I went to the plumbing store and I would say that I was renovating an RV they would say, "Oh yeah! That means you've got weird connections." Turns out they were right. I had a lot of issues with my RV plumbing and matching it to what I c...

I'll spill the beans: We loved Lake Ray Hubbard RV park! Yes, the resort was a new and had great amenities and even though most of the week we stayed it was raining and the grass flooded our kids say it was their favorite park. One of the main reasons why we loved the park is because of the people. They were great and we had a huge pumpkin carving event. So if you're looking to stay in Dallas T...

Lippert RV Waste Management Pipe Review
where did you buy the back wall for the shower
Never use silicone on an rv! Nothing sticks to it, not even silicone. It isnt uv resistant, it will peel at the edges, its very hard to remove. Use an rv specific product like Geocel Pro Flex or a dicor product.
Not sure how the ruler thing worked. Could you please provide more detail?
I wanting to do the same and get my antenna off biggest plus we have the same coach. I will have more questions if you dont mind shearing
IKEA has thin butcher block counters you can buy instead of the thick butcher block at Home Depot for anyone watching as an alternative for a lighter travel trailer concerned with weight. I love everything you both did.
We did Henry’s Tropic Cool as I see you did too, best stuff ever
Thank you both for sharing your style ideas and solutions to common annoying rv issues.
I love IKEA
I love this. You did so well.
This was the video I was looking for. Thank you!
Panel Saw...
So many other You tube videos are "How to replace your rooftop antennae" Step 1 - remove old antennae, Step 2 ... wait how do you remove the frickin' antennae!
That shiplap looks dark. Did you stain it or did it come like that? Thanks!
My advice would be keep the roof maintenance up. This material ruins easily with water. Even high humidity over time will cause it to sag. As long as it's kept dry though, it should look nice for a good while. Also, for cutting holes, you can use a multi tool and a shop vac next to the blade to greatly minimize the mess. They're easier to use than a jig saw in many scenarios, & typically safer... but noisy little buggers. Looking good guys! Thanks for sharing. 😊
How long of nails did you use?
hi there what transformation you both have made to your RV home on wheels ive just bought a similar RV Georgie boy Landau will be be doing the same complete rip out bring up date for full time RV living 👌
Beautiful!
Thank you for a nice, short, problem solving video! I would suggest putting some eternabond tape over the metal sheet plate for extra protection. I’m totally going to do the same procedure on mine and use the metal sheet, seal it, and tape it up. Thanks for the video! Ps you have a great voice!
Thank you. That was just what I needed. Good job.
Really enjoyed this video! You earned my sub. Have a beautiful day.
Good video. Another way to fix that hole is to buy a fiberglass patch kit. Basically you would do some light grinding around the holes to make the matt stick. Then lay the patch over the holes and apply some mixed epoxy resin and catalyst onto the patch. Finally work the resin into the material with a roller until it is fully saturated, and then let it dry. You will never have to worry about a leak and it will be super strong. Easy peasy!
@SKINLA682 No more complicated than patching a bicycle tire. Basically rough up the hole, mix some resin, and then work it into a fiberglass patch over the hole. The rest is simply sanding the patch to make it level and painting if need be.
very nice job
Interesting! I just found your channel and see you haven't done any more post in over a year. I've been remodeling my 37' 0:11 1989 Fleetwood Class A for years and have considered going butcher block instead of the corn. Look like you 2 have already done a lot of the remodel stuff I've been thinking of doing to mine. So looks like I have some videos to catch up on. I like the way you explain your steps BTY.
Are You still RVing?
This video did help me figure out what I was going to get into before taking mine off; I really appreciate it. I am planning on doing something very similar to what you have done, but maybe fill the holes with auto body filler (Bondo).
Come to think of it…spray foam can work too.
Beautiful! But did I miss where you sleep? 🤔
It’s very homey, love it!!
Thanks for all the info
Great video, so did it stand the test of time and travel? I am probably going to do this over the weekend. At least I have a plan now..
WOW!! Great job guys!!! Love the flooring and so many great ideas! My question is How much did the coach weigh after the remodel?
Can you tell me more about your lights?
I'm enjoying the video and seeing all the beautiful work you did. I see that you have stopped making videos, but just a thought for the future: the music in the background totally competes with your talking. It isn't necessary. :D
Where do you as a couple sleep? I didn’t see any place left.
It's called a panel saw
Where do the adults sleep?
Round corners of table
We have a 99 SW.
28:19 This is so sweet I got a toothache .. God is so good..Too Bless us... Beautiful family ...
It's beautiful! But I didn't see a bed for you guys.
Wow beautiful job guys.
It's called a "Panel Saw".
Where is the adults room?
How did you find the supports in the walls and ceiling of the cab? Are the interior wall panels removable? I'm confident that I could do the rest of this if/when we buy a class A. Its just finding thise solid supports that seems to be trick..
I took mine off and used a plastic cutting board. I drilled at equal space around the 12x12 template and screwed it to the roof. I layed downa hefty bead of roofing caulk, big box store don'tcarry anything for rv. Work well so far. Flex seal doesn't stand up to sunlight.
What’s the spray material you are using?
You did the best job amazing beautiful I love every detail in your home it’s cozy 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
very nicely done!! Can you please tell me how you mounted the stained wood around the top of the slide? Just curious if you used screws, do they show really bad? I'm trying to decide how to do that but preserving the natural look of wood without a bunch of screw holes!!! LOL
Do You have a list of all the materials that You used on this? We would like to get the same things! Thanks
Fabulous, this is what I am doing in my RV I wanted a more homey feeling as it is going to be my home Oh my goodness your baby is so beautiful
Fantastic renovation
