Vic and I used to spend the first quarter of most Chiefs games trying to get the people sitting around us to quit yelling the f word. I'd shake my 'mad momma' finger at them and let them know I wasn't listening to that for the next three hours because there are children around and they're in a public place. It almost always worked! I know it's such a habit for lots of people, but I just want them to behave respectfully for the people around them. We were even asked if we were preachers or something like that. That said, I know the stadium can't control the talent in the stadium. (Also, I'm glad Danielle stepped away from the confrontation. Good for her!)

If you had a good childhood, you should take personal responsibility for your actions. If you had a bad childhood, you should take personal responsibility only for what was your fault (which can be unclear sometimes) and everything you did as an adult. Without that distinction you can die young from stress related chronic illness. If you were taught that down is up you need to show yourself the patience you were never shown. Accountability is empowering. Blame leads to resentment which poisons you.

Ugh, not sure why im engaging.... But here we go. Im a residemt physician - in my last stage of training before practicing independently. In modern healthcare, prices/charges are set by hospitals and paid by insurance. I'm simplifying a bit here, but insurance companies will intermittentlt generally do their best to avoid paying charges by denying coverage, requiring extra steps, or delaying care (peer2peer, prior auth, etc). In response, hospitals raise their prices, add random costs, and increase charges. Its an arms race around money. Youre welcome to blame the MD in front of you... But its more likely the C-Suite MBAs on either side of the payment structure making your life hard. For example, suegeons generally receive ~18% of the total charges given for a surgery. Its not the MD that's draining your wallet.
