Have you tried using a c clamp style monitor stand with this desk?

Hello, the cover is glass which makes me worry about whether the arms will stick when it's hot or it could be very cold when it's winter. Another thing I need to know is if you can anchor an arm for a screen since it must be pressed against the desk and it has a glass cover that can break.

Are the legs A and B or does it matter which side to assemble? Also after it was assembled t was already in the lowest position so when I initialized for the first time I got error code E-8 Manual says to check cables are connected-and switch motor cables?
