UE5 | Packaging Troubleshooting
A common issue when packaging a project in Unreal Engine is that the file name is too long. Here are a few things to keep in mind when having this issue.
Registry Editor folders:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\FileSystem
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem
Note: The Registry Editor changes system files and settings. Only change the "long path.." settings indicated in the video.

any way to export a small section of a map?
I really hope that you're gonna see this coment, because I've been strugling to figure out why my destinatiom folder is empty after I package my project in ue5. I NEED your help
mmm, the first step is to check output log and review if there is any error. Just in case, you can click the dialogue box that appears on the bottom right of the UE interface once you click package. See if there's any red lines; these are the critical errors.
FYI cesium sunsky is broken in ue5.4
I just tried it and it is working correctly for me. There are a few new settings since I made the video, but as long as you adjust the "Date and Time" settings in the details panel it should work.
Please keep it simple, iam not a IT specialist !

Hi. First to comment. Just want to know as I istall Cesium for 5.3 the quick basic panel ( @3:23)is missing. It is installed in the engine and Cesium is even checked under the windows tab - but no panel to hit connect to cesium ion and other quick basics! What I am doing wrong? What am I overlooking?
Hi, quite strange that it happens, but there's a chance the Cesium tab/window got collapsed to the side of the viewport. To make it easy, you can go to the "Window" tab on the top menus, click on "Load Layout", and then click on "Default Editor Layout". That resets the interface and should bring the Cesium tab back (as long as "Cesium" is checked in the Window tab dropdown, it should appear). In case it is still not showing, the last thing I would do is uncheck Cesium from the plugins library/window and then activate it again.
