Got to see my sister and niece today, that was good. Gave my sister some beef roast dinner to take home. My niece is doing well, she’s walking all around now and very bouncy and bright. She’s only a year old but she loves playing with picture books. Clever Virgo girl, born a day just before your birthday. Both the joy and sorrow. The veil is so thin and everything that people stuff down can’t be stuffed down anymore. The laughter is belly deep and laced with nostalgia, and the sadness and tears are not only your own but the tears of a thousand ancestors who have suffered so that you could be free in this lifetime. It’s not that I’m carrying a burden, I let the burden of past pains go. The tears are part of that purging process too. The stream of consciousness reflection and speaking up on heavy subjects, isn’t holding on to pain, it’s part of integrating the lessons for me so that the pain dissolves and has something meaningful and important to convey, something that can bring joy and beauty, hope and peace and love. I hope you noticed that the things I’ve been talking about… they’re not sad for sadness’s sake. They’re tears for healing and hope’s sake. Hope that if we process everything instead of running away from it in fear, if we process it, the burden lightens naturally- not by being tossed aside, but by being transmuted within us, into light and wisdom. Every tear is a whispered prayer… that’s why sometimes we laugh so hard that we have tears in our eyes. They’re two sides of the same coin. You can only feel as deeply in love and happiness, as you allow yourself to feel the depth of all your emotions. Create space within yourself for all your feelings so that you don’t fearfully reject any of your feelings. I love you Ryan, I’m ready to come home.
