This song still reminds me of when I was pregnant with mine n my husbands first child. We started dating in 9th grade and when I was 16 n he was 17 I got pregnant with our oldest. I had it in my mind that I didn’t want him to feel obligated to me so I thought that I loved him enough to let him go. I really thought that because I was keeping the baby that he was just going along with me and I thought it would be better for him if I walked away so he can do everything he wanted to. I loved him enough to let him go. And I wouldn’t take his calls. His dad called me and said that he was hysterical and all he could say was that I killed him and I broke his heart n soul. I’m glad I came to my senses. And needless to say we’re 44 n 45 years old we’ve been married for almost 22 years and have 2 sons and a daughter ages 27,21 and 19 years old. And this man still adores me. But this is what I think of when I hear this song.
