Watching this video again to check on MTM body matches. I am so frustrated because it sounds like the new Basics line will be articulated (hopefully MTM) but there won't be any Kens. 😡 There should be MORE MTM Kens in ALL skin tones! Sure, I'd love to see a slim/short MTM and a broad MTM, but right now I'm just concerned that there will be NO MTM Kens this year. Mattel, you don't make it easy for the customizers! 🤬😤😡😠

Happy New Year, Faith! Fashionista 222 is my favorite, although her head is a tad disproportionate with the petite body. I rebodied her onto a curvy, non-articulated body, and she's perfect. The match with her head is spot on so I might want to keep her as is and never put her on a MTM body. Fashionista 227 was a big disappointment to me. A Totally Hair Ken homage doll should at least have had rooted hair! His head was too big for the short, slim body, but there are no really good MTM matches. Just got 232 based on your recommendation in another video. Still on the fence. Those eyes are huge! But we shall see! Hoping that everyone's dolly dreams come true in the new year!

The blind Barbie was my #1. Gorgeous unique face, nice hair, sweet girly outfit, and actually some articulation. The totally hair doll was an insult because of the short length of her hair. Her dress is all that made me want to buy her.

I generally only get a Fashionista if I really like the outfit and/or they aren’t very pixelated. I got a few earlier this year, but these seem worse. I would rather spend three times more on a Looks doll, but I think that line might be ending. I have heard rumours of a “Basics” line, but don’t know how that will differ from the Looks or old Basics.

I was so disappointed with the latest Fashionistas, especially Ken 235. He was literally identical to the Ken Fashionista that was printed a few years back. I was so angry about that can’t metallic. Give us a new mold for Ken every year instead of repeating Sabe, Fais, sculpt. Very disappointing.
