First off thank you sooo much I made the Pork Chops and let me tell you it was sooooo good that I went to the store the next day and made them again I was sucking on that bone. Little bit ingredients but so much flavor.

Just once. Once you use it one time it must be discarded. You will see it changes color and gets dark and wilted.

how long did you cook with the bananna leaves?
You can cook until rice is cooked all the way through or until ready to serve. It’s all preference. I keep it on útil ready to serve.
how long do you cook with the leaves on it?
It depends on how much rice. You would cook it till your rice was soft and cooked through. It can take 15 / 20 minutes. But you could leave it till it was ready to serve.

Sounds great I hope all turns out well. Just make sure you buy the leaves fresh it will make the rice much better.
how long did you cook for?
It depends on the size of your pernil. I normally cook my pernil that is over 6 lbs for at least 3 to 5 hours . Remember that at the end it must be uncovered for the skin to get golden brown and hard

You should make sure you check it every so often and cook it till it is soft all the way through the meat. Tender and almost falling off the bone when I make it. The truck is to keep it closed tight. Then at the end brown the skin and let harden.

I’m sorry but you put a 1/3 of what? Also the longer you leave it cooking on the stove the thicker it will get.
In Fiji, that's the way we peel cassava. We don't use peelers but just the knife and it's very fast. The whole skin can come away in one piece.

Muggy Tee that happens sometimes and it also depends on the brand of rice you use. Some rices need more water or more oil. It happens to me too if I switch up brand of rice sometimes.
