Been to that Starbucks a couple times before. Pretty cozy to be in this neighbourhood. Though a lot of people talk shit about the Denen-Toshi Line for how pretentious the residents are, I find it relaxing to stick around there. I like Tama Plaza too.

Most of these houses are large by Japanese standards but are unimpressive from the street. If you go on Google Maps aerial you'll see that they have gardens and green spaces on the opposite side. Of course, we can't see what those look like.

Thank you for inspiring me to get up early on a gentle, warm morning and enjoy a simple peaceful walk around Den-en-Chofu. That gorgeous soft early morning light, that time of day, is just such a joy. After enjoying the neighbourhood, I can't think of anything nicer than going into one of the many high-end bakeries and coffeeshops that area has and having a light brunch. Thank for for filming this so beautifully. No music or jabbering on to fill the silence. The ambience and atmosphere of this gilded, charming enclave was captured so well in your film here. Arigato!
