To mow the lawn No. I mean...🤔🤦🏽♀️🤞🏼👀 You are letting it grow Of course!. To use for your Grass basket business 😏 Win - win" 😂🙌🏼 - WIN! 😎🙌🏼😂 Seriously. This is great! 🙏🏼👈🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼😏
This is amazing ‼️I wanted to see using Johnson grass and it gave me your video, I guess I'll just try and see what happens.I will also be harvesting grass for winter ❤️
I don't know if anybody will know the answer to this or not but I'm wondering if you're able to start the basket put it down and then go back to it a few days later or because you started it and the grass is getting dry if that would make it too brittle in the grass of break when you go back to it.
You answered all of my questions
Thanks for this, really well explained! I'll try it now with some long grasses that have just got thoroughly soaked in some classic British rain! :)
Thanks for this. Have you ever Weaver with Tiger Grass? I've never weaved a grass basket and am curious to try. A friend just gifted me a basket weaved from cattails and it got me excited to try my hand at it. I have a very large stand of Zebra grass and thought it might make an awesome basket. Thanks for your help.
Lovely lesson , thank you 😊!!
Thank you! That was explained really nicely. I'm going to try it with the tall grasses i trimmed in a nearby meadow so my cat has a trail to walk that wont bother her face. lol Some of the grass is already dry from last year so, whether i use fresh or dry, I'm already set! lol i have no idea what kind it is but, I'm going to assume itll work. I also read that honeysuckle is good to use for weaving and there's tons of it here. But thats going to take a couple days of preparation, like boiling it and such. But, Im going to cut my teeth on this average grass, first, before i try to get fancy and complicated. lol Thanks again!
This technique makes using just about anything possible. I can see using rope and thread or combining reed stalks with long leaves
Have you tried using seaweed? Good video.
that would smell
Thank you!!!! You did a great job explaining!! 🙏💕🧿🤚🏼🌿💨🪶
We are having a week at the end of school to celebrate culture and this year we are focusing on smoked salmon. I’m charged with preparing a canning lesson for the kids and this is by far the best video. She doesn’t just say what the steps are but explains why we do the steps which is key in trying to learn and share new information. Thank you for the great video. The only thing missing is we didn’t see how she sanitized her jars which is a very important step in the canning process.
What a cool video! Thanks so much for making the information easy to understand. Very cute basket! I'll try making one of these!
I'm hearing the intro and exit ditty, but the sound doesn't appear to be working during the class. I'm not hearing Ms. Elizabeth.
Thank you, KCL, for the closed-caption suggestion. I hope you get the mic issue fixed soon. :)
Wonderful! 💞
Sorry I missed the time. Was it in real time originally?
Amy, it was not live, this is one of our pre filmed classes. In real time it took Mr. James over an hour to do the portrait. Thank you for watching!
