Read the instructions. They explain that the motors generate current when moved by hand. Moving the gantry by hand can burn up your electronics.

What are the dimensions of your tools? I looked in Inventibles projects but you didn't post them there. Does it have to be a specific distance or just the same on both sides?

So have a question is when you are tracing the ovals or tray why aren’t you using the attributes with an oval and then use the bezier handles to manipulate the shape

That's awesome! Are these tools available for download somewhere? Figuring out why my xcarve carves .3mm large in x direction and .3 small in y direction is a pain. Question about holding the beam during power up ... When the power is turned on, the xcarve will 'jump' slightly. Were you keeping pressure on the beam during this power on jump?

Solar thermal is a nightmare to hook up. Fine for warm environments. Years ago it was stated if PV dropped below $1.50 a watt resistance heating would be cost effective. PV will be the way in the future. I heat all my water with excess PV not used in my off grid needs. You can't imagine how much power is just wasted by off grid PV systems. With supplemental PV water heating 100% of the potential energy is used making payback far greater than HPWH in low use situations. I build these systems now because the world has yet to understand PV water heating. The controllers available now are too expensive as the demand is so low. No reason these can't be in the cost range of charge controllers.
