Hi! I'm Seru, I'm a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer at Origam since 2014.
I have many influences from Experimental Rock and Progressive Metal, influences from japanese music, Jazz Fusion, electronic music, music for videogames, cinematic music, Hip-Hop and among many other styles that I handle.

ORIGAM | H-S (FULL ALBUM)
The first album of my project "Origam" is finally fully streamed after 10 years of preparation, composition and a lot of effort.
What is the concept of this album?
I began writing this concept album in 2014, without much knowledge of music theory or production, and without a clear story to tell. Many songs were created quickly, in just 1 or 2 days. However, when listening to the full album, all those pieces will come together as a single, cohesive song. The title "H-S" represents the symbols for Entropy (H) and Enthalpy (S), thermodynamic concepts that fascinate me. Personally, the album is a story of universal consciousness, order in chaos, introspection, and retrospection towards myself, a poem to the universe outside and within, with constant changes in matter, thoughts, and spirituality. It's an abstract and personal concept, a therapy that I'll continue to add to over time. The album's motto is "One day at a time", as it's through our daily challenges that we can create something wonderful, since each of us has an infinite universe within, that "H-S".
I have added some kanji on the cover that means 'Bushido,' a motto that symbolizes the warrior's path that Seru will navigate throughout each Origam saga. This will be a recurring theme in every project, representing constant physical, mental, and spiritual growth.

What is the concept of this album?

The guitars are real but I can play the bass too, it's been programmed because I don't have a 5-string bass. And the drums are programmed with only samples too, but I've studied drums for years too, so I try to make it humanly playable 🎸🎸🥁

@@2an_soundIt's been more than a full decade of work for this album, there are tracks that are very old like those from 2014 and there are others that I wrote in mid-2022. The production, the sound, the arrangements, everything was trial and error 😅
