This isn't being "toxic", I just honestly would like to know how the budget for this is only 10 million less than Dune 2.
Right! I don't understand modern Hollywood budgets. I remember when everyone freaked out when Waterworld cost over 100 million, and that movie holds up so much better than all this green screen nonsense.

Actually after lady Jessica drinks the water of life after that theres a 2 year gap basically after she drinks the water of life n when paul rides the sandworm for the first time theres 2 years time skip in between those two events in the book.

Again someone is casted for the wrong role. Abby is more like a masculin Character and Dever looks more like Ellie.
Agreed in many ways. Still seems weird to bring her in as Abby and not Ellie. But I don't doubt Kaitlyn Dever, hopefully she can make me a believer, just needs to hit that gym! lol
What's worse is this is a great opportunity to put their money where their mouth is for once when it comes to body positivity... Every strong Hollywood female character weighs 115 lbs or less, but we're supposed to believe they think women's bodies should be accepted in all forms... Make it make sense

Say what you will about WW84, but the timing was perfect. It came out around Christmas during the first year of Covid when we desperately needed a glimpse of hope. And we desperately needed someone who wasn't scared to come out and slap Trump in the face, which Patty Jenkins totally did with this movie. I will support this movie to the grave.

i thought the second to last episode was stronger.
Yeah that funeral episode was extremely hard to beat. The whole show was so strong, but rarely do we see final seasons that pop off as much as Succession did.
I thought Jack Dylan Grazer stole the show in this one. Zachary Levi was still entertaining but I felt the writing for his character was very unfocused this time around. Action was fun, villains were kinda cool but overall this movie didn’t work for me all the way through.
Sounds like we agree! Some cool elements in there, but it never really came together like we’d hoped..
