The way this bridge looks reminds me of the Coronado Bay Bridge.
This was such a nice place to stay for our visit to West Virginia , the cabin was clean and comfortable . We thank you so much for a great place to stay!!!
That looks sweet. Back in 1985, i was heading to FL. The old span was being redecked and there was only one lane, with a traffic light!! Sat on that bridge for 15 minutes waiting my turn...
The bridge was originally supposed to have two lanes in each direction along with a pedestrian bicycle path. However, former GOP Governor Larry Hogan didn't even want the bridge, and certain things had to be removed before he would support it.
I worked at the Navy base in Dahlgren, VA (1979 - 2017) and crossed the Harry Nice bridge many times. It was terrific and a bit spooky. The new bridge is probably better in many ways, but has little visual character.
Doesn't look nice anymore, not without the cantilever truss span which made it look nicer. Even a double tower cable stayed bridge would have made it nice.
I used that method to load a large ash log that blew down at a junior high school. I thought I was getting into trouble when a cop pulled up but no one cared and all he said was "You must really want that log". !!
Yup, tractor is better than using a winch ! Looks like the old homestead home needs washing. Ever try any of that wet it and forget it ? The log going to the mill I presume! 👍😁

They really messed up on this bridge. It should have 3 lanes and a shoulder as well as a sidewalk in each direction.

It's a friend of mine, and as of now, it's tied up in court while the family is fighting over the will !

I live in eastern ontario and have been taking down beech trees got to get to them before they rot .Good luck with it .

There is something killing beech. Do you have picture of the leaves?
Anthracnose affects a variety of tree species and is caused by a group of fungi. In beech, the fungi infect the leaves and stems and can cause dieback or some defoliation. The disease thrives in years where there are cool, wet conditions during bud break.
Just liked and subscribed. We have several farmalls. At present we have two C's taken apart. Both need new sleeves and pistons. A C with that hyd touch control is a handy tractor.
You gonna rebuild them ?
@@arniemohler310 Yes we have video's One is a really rough auction buy. I gave it to our 9 year old grandson. Needs piston rings. However rings and gaskets cost $228 and I can get new sleeves pistons rings and gaskets for $303 .So its getting new sleeves and pistons etc. The other belongs to a customer. Water got in it needs the same thing new sleeves. Its a really nice tractor wide front . Has fenders & good tires and paint. I need to get with them and decide what they want to do. We do have a junk C we will sell parts off of.
We had an old Farmall M but I believe it was younger than this one.
Any contact info for this place? Few cars that peak my interest
