When you release the Test button after it beeps 3 times does the CO LED start flashing?

The way it actually tests is it chirps when starting the cycle. The LED flashes 4-6 times, then does its alarm cycle. At that point the red LED lights up for 2 seconds then goes out for 4 seconds twice.

I'm pretty sure the point of Kidde actually releasing the i12000 series was to incorporate these new Hush and Memory features. They were introduced in 2008 and surprisingly enough the i9000 series wasn't brought in till 2009.

The only USI alarms I know of that latch are the CD-9795/SS-7795, as well as the hardwired CO/Gas/(Smoke) units.

My 9120B's dying sound is really choppy and funny.

Not sure why I can only find this on Lowes’ website, but there is a Precision SA520, and it’s called the SM500-AC. Works just like the original SA520 but I’m assuming uses the LF sounder instead of the traditional piezo. It does sound Code 3 when transmitting and receiving a smoke signal.

So weird that it rasps in pre-alarm. Probably caused by the LED flickering green. At least the transmission is audible since transmitting silently actually delayed the warning.

The predecessor model PI2000 did, and it was a solid red LED.
