There are no sequels. Logically not possible, as a sequel is not simply something set after the original. It has to follow the rules, set by the movies it wants to follow up. The disney trilogy spectecularly fails to do that. Also, using the exact same story is not a sequel, it is a remake. And that is what disney did. Therefore it can not be a Sequel. So by logic, there is no sequel trilogy, only a disney trilogy.

Ahsoka (tv show) analyzis: an idiotic story line idiotic story elements contradicting George Lucas Star Wars an idiot main villain unrelatable and stupid protagonists bad acting pathetic dialogs And yet, it is better than the Obi-wan show, the absolute sub zero Boba Fett show, and the mediocre Mandalorian, that would be unwatchable without baby yoda.

God what a garbage movies. I remember coming out of the cinema in 99. Felt like a slap to the face. Thank God for the Sequels. I know some Prequel revisionists like to cry about the new movies but they are 1000000% better than the trash Lucas came up with in 1,2,3.

I soooooo wanted a D@17 movie back then! As a huge Buffy fan I thought this would've been perfect for a movie or show.

How exactly is this sequel series gonna work? Because the ending of the original series had the world being remade and Nara basically becomes the new Eve and her husband basically becomes the new Adam. So is the sequel gonna be set in the remade world in the ending or is the world gonna be remade again?

David Lynch is heaps into Hinduism n our reality is a dream. So when he mentions dreams he means our reality is a dream n we are Dreaming in the dream ukno it's Hinduism so I see Lynch using that for alot The quote we live inside a dream but who is the dreamer is a quote from the ancient Hindu texts

Great discussion on your faith and how that relates to your books. I have three horror scripts I would like to make into comics, and as a Christian myself I still want to make them fun and exciting with pretty ladies and scary monsters. Yours and Bryan’s books are both inspirations, keep it up!

Otis needs to be on this show every week. The friction of opinions is both funny (perhaps slightly at your guys' expense... Josh's reaction to Otis's comments on Ghostbusters Afterlife made me actually laugh out loud) ... but also it makes the conversation more interesting. Just sayin!!

The Rey to anikan ratio is disappointing

Great analysis of a well-crafted, unfairly maligned film. My second-favorite film in the Sequel Trilogy (I still like The Force Awakens best, to me that one is just perfect)... I have a handful of minor criticisms about it - but its strengths far outweigh its weaknesses, and I DO love it. Just a thought - 31:03 - I think what we have here, is more likely JJ's fetish for 1970s sci-fi. I took the "Star Destroyers rising up out of the ground" concept as an homage to Close Encounters of the Third Kind, where the Mothership first appears by rising up from behind Devils Tower (instead of lowering from the sky). Spielberg has done a few famous interviews where he's said that scene was an example of how a director should listen to his gut and not be afraid to make odd visual choices when they feel right, even if they don't make immediately clear, logical sense. I could see JJ admiring that choice and wanting to pay homage to it.

It's a film I didn't like when I first saw it. But after a while I gave it another chance, and I warmed up to it well. I wish there was more with Chet, would've been great to have had him show up in Season 3, but alas it wasn't to be.

As a fan of crime movies, murder mysteries, true crime, and even David Lynch movies... Twin Peaks is a perplexing example of one of those things I know I SHOULD love, but for some reason, just couldn't get into it. Despite trying to watch the TV series multiple times and it just didn't connect with me. However I did see Fire Walk With Me when it came out and liked it okay. Wasn't put off by the weirdness, I'd seen enough Lynch movies by then to know what I was getting into. But I just much prefer his other movies like The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Lost Highway, and Mulholland Drive. Just my two cents. Great video, guys... Love these long-form discussion videos. Keep em coming.

Very polarizing movie, some people love it some hate it. personally i think its okay.. alot of stuff i dont like, but theres still stuff i like or and find enjoyable, i can appreciate those things will still having criticisms towards the film. There were already many things i disagreed with in force awakens, and i find rise of skywalker to be much worse, so while many people hate this film i still find it somewhat underrated compared to the others. Still dont love it, but I think its alright and not as bad as some people say. I try not to think about it too much because I often come to think of the things i dont like about it, but whenever i rewatch it i still tend to enjoy it more than i expect.

I will always love the sequels. I grew up with them. They will always hole a special place in my hart

Great ideas on paper. Terrible execution by a self-admitted terrible writer. Too much cringe. Luke’s character is definitely misrepresented for the sake of shock value. As well as Obi Wan/Qui Gon Jin. The word hubris is used too often to be taken seriously.
