I was thinking to buy this game but after knowing how they killed Joel and how other characters are based on lgbtq…not playing this game any more

It's still crazy to me how, like, only one person died to a zombie in a world being in a zombie apocalypse. We don't see anyone important to turn, which is like, easy emotional storytelling. This is definitely morbid, but it should have been Ellie's way of getting information from Nora is breaking her legs and the threat of just leaving her behind there to turn instead of mercy killing her since she's already breathing in the spores.

Tlou2 is like eating a really good steak and then getting a raw piece in the middle. The game not only sucks,but it is one of the most overrated games ever. 4 years after its release,it isn’t talked about anywhere,not on best games lists,Reddit threads,or even just casual talks about the game. RDR1 nailed the revenge plot because of how anticlimactic it is. Jack feels satisfied for killing Ross,but knows he can never truly let go of John’s death. If Ellie killed Abby,then yeah,she wouldn’t get over Joel’s death,but it would at least help her guilt go away a little. Ellie additionally sucks as a character. Instead of a calm,smart and entertaining character,she’s now incredibly nihilistic,boring,and uninteresting. Shes like a weaker version of Low Honor Arthur Morgan,but even worse. This makes me glad I went on to RDR2. To people who think the game is good,you must have really low standards for what you think is good. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste 60 quid on a game like Tlou2.

I love the last of us 2. But this video have pretty good points.

The issue you have with characters having to walk.... that's a personal issue. It's boring for you. It's not boring for everyone. There are actually some times that I'll intentionally walk SLOWER because I'm so immersed in the character's journey that if I feel like the character would be walking tentatively, I'll do it. I'll even go as far as to make Abby stop and take a step back for a second before opening the door to her dad's OR in her nightmare.

Abby had no reason to ask for Joel's full name... and you pretty much explained why. The lead they had was that Joel's brother Tommy was living in Jackson. They might be fairly common names (I'd argue that Joel really isn't) but what are the odds that there's another set of brothers named Joel and Tommy in Jackson?

How this game managed to beat Ghost of Tsushima is beyond me

I just came across this and couldn't get over you saying you've "improved" at this. Now, I didn't see the first one but based on this it must have really sucked. Lol I was going to give it the dislike you asked for but it's honestly not even worth that.

The only way i could see this game working, would be if you played as Abby initially without even knowing youre going to play Ellie. Imagine starting the game as Abby, hanging out with your dad, learning the new controls, and BAM you find him dead with the fireflies destroyed. Then as Abby you go through years of progress to make yourself stronger, a trained killer to eventually hunt and kill Joel. This all happens while you come across the devastation left behind from Joel, Tommy, and Ellie's destruction, making them into almost demons of legend. This would also give you time to build connection with your friends, and community that you meet along the way. Then after youre 40% through the game you come across Tommy and Joel just like in the game but you find out theyre not the demons you imagined and are comflicted on what you should do.

I wouldve bought the ending far more if lev was sitting there begging ellie to stop. Cause i could buy that being the thing that woke ellie up to how pointless this was. I still wouldnt have liked the story overall, but id be way more understanding of the ending.

they needed to make us believe that Abby was trying to change. sure she has her own ellie now, but JOEL had an ellie and they felt he still deserved to die. Abby is the top enforcer for a guy we watched torture someone and hunted Joel down in cold blood, having some bad dreams and looking after some kids that saved your life isnt enough to make me think she deserves a second chance. if in the abby boss fight, instead of her being the aggressor she tried showing remorse about killing ellies dad and trying to de-escalate but being forced to fight, then leaving it at incapacitating ellies group then i could buy ellie dropping it after seeing her tortured and winning the fight. also if we dont have the choice to stealth through encounters and not kill everyone you see then you cant really take the high ground about killing the main person responsible for joels death who doesnt even feel bad

Dina doesn't get enough hate. She is the true Mary Sue. She is extremely narcissistic, everyone loves her, she is constantly singing her own praises, she behaves awfully, and no one ever calls her on it. The bad ending is because you Dina disapproves of Ellie's behavior. She always has some sarcastic comment towards Ellie. Why exactly does Ellie like this woman?

John Walker is the biggest underdog in the MCU, NONE of what he did was unjustified or evil. He embodied Captain America way more than this butchered version of Sam. I can't see Winter Soldier's Sam (or post WS Bucky) being this much of a negligent, selfish @-Hole to fellow soldiers in need and others. Walker and Lamar, who weren't super soldiers btw went out of their way to save them in that truck, going toe-to-toe with supersoldiers to save him and Bucky. His only "mistake" was killing the terrorist in public sight, thus allowing the two ungrateful "heroes" to attack him. Gov made a kangaroo court to punish him only because it made them look bad.

Finally a review that explains why I hated part 2 there are rumors of a part 3 coming I wouldn’t even want a continuation of this they’ll probably make Ellie and Abby friends after this I rather they redo this game and Ellie gets to kill Abby

Honestly I didn’t care to play as Abby and wanted her dead after what she did to Joel and they make it more upsetting having play as Abby in the theater to fully brutalize Ellie they didn’t even give us the option to switch characters, not mention it was a one sided fight Abby’s a trained WLF soldier who put herself through Bruce Wayne levels of training for revenge and Ellie has no hand to hand combat skills making the fight 1 sided and even after Ellie gets her arms broken and face rearranged Abby makes herself more unlikable to try to waste Dina then threaten Ellie What’s even worse is the short time skip from the events that happened I even sided with Tommy when Ellie declines trying to go after Abby again. Abby killed Jesse the father of Dina’s child Almost killed the love of her life Dina and crippled Tommy and not to mention beat her senseless that’s enough for a get back forget Joel at this point I was literally excited at the idea to waste Abby again but once the fight happened and Ellie let her go I completely logged off the game

4 years after game and its still sucks

All these videos about disliking TLOU part 2 miss the main gist of what Naughty Dog is trying to accomplish. Naughty Dog is a liberal left-wing bias company, and they hated the fact that the main character was a white male. They played safe in the first TLOU, meaning they didn't include much of their left-wing bias into the game, that's why it was successful. But in the second one, they knew people were going to buy anyways because of the success of the first one, so they waste no time. Why do you think the majority of the staff left Naughty Dog as they were making the second one? Neil is probably the only one left because he is the one who dictates things. Just watch the TV show, they made Bill gay, which is completely out of character for the type of character he was in the first game. Naughty Dog wanted a female protagonist and not a white male, that's why they killed Joe. But they didn't want only a female, they had to have a LGBT+ female to be the protagonist. Then, they included another female, completely out of the blue, to show their girl power, a matter of fact, the second protagonist was a female body builder, which doesn't make any sense at all in that world.

Its obvious that some of these phase 4 writers don’t read the comics or just aren’t attached to these characters and their stories enough to respect them and properly give them a good story.

TLOU 2 is the greatest game in history…

Why do you think I or anyone else would or should care what you think? I never understand someone thinking their opinion of something is so interesting or important to others that it qualifies as "content". I might share with and listen to opinions of people I know but why would I be interested in what someone I don't know thinks about anything. The ability to upload an opinion to a platform like UA-cam doesn't make it interesting or of any value.

1. The whole premise is a generic, "revenge is bad" tale, except it also gets hijacked, as revenge seems to solely be negative if anyone other than Abby desires it. 2. Returning characters are either abolished or flandarized into killing machines. 3. Joel's demise should have been an exquisite catalyst for the events, yet it's randomly thrown in, as if the writers are merely hoping for the best reaction, without depositing much attention to receive that. For a game reminiscent of The Last Of Us, there shouldn't be a Mary Sue to whom everyone acts out-of-character towards. 4. Multitudes of attempts to replicate the dynamic between Joel and Ellie from the first instalment. Yet here, it doesn't suffice, since we scarcely know anything Dina, while Abby and Lev are ennuing at best, and actively despicable at worst. 5. Abby is one of the most poorly-written and incoherent characters. The game clearly favors her over others, and attempts to trick players into liking/sympathizing with her (with the cheapest and most immature tactics) yet it also exhibits that Abby is lesser pre-eminent than the character it tries to demonize. Examples include her backstabbing her faction for a single child, wrecking relationships, torturing others for pleasure, etc. I understand why she silenced Joel, I don't comprehend why she's a sadistic Mary Sue, nor do I sympathize with her. 6. Lev is a watered down version of Ellie from the first game, yet he is boring and bland to no end. Oh, and he's transgender. I suppose Neil wanted to label others transphobic for disliking a stale and uninteresting character, so Lev is an effective device for everything. 7. Too much LGBTQ content, which should be the very final aspect to be relevant in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. 8. The game is too lengthy, and the structure is all over the place. We start from scratch at about half of the game, because ✨ Abby ✨ 9. The infected are an afterthought, and are barely present. +1. The majority of the fandom approximately has the mind snd argumentative capabilities of a toddler. Peep at the comments under this video....

You know, I loved last of us and the story and when I saw this video, I thought you was dumb for making it, but the more I heard the more I realized he was actually right the story was completely butchered and it just messed up the whole franchise for last of us, they were dumb for making the story as bad as it was.
