CSX SD40-2’s slowly pull CA-11 thru Woodbury
For today’s video, I went to Woodbury to catch the Conrsil WPCA-11 local. It had two Ex-Conrail SD40-2’s in the lead, and it was moving at less than 10 mph.

Today I went to Whitford Station on the Keystone Corridor. I went here primarily to catch a GE Genesis before they’re retired. I caught 2 of them and one was a Phase II unit! Also fun fact, my catches today are almost an exact mirror of last time I was here.
A Busy Day of NS, CSX, and BNSF in Piscataway

For today's video, I headed back to Piscataway to catch some freight trains and spent about 6 hours there. I caught quite a bit of action, including a BNSF-led tanker train, a local, friendly crews, and more. I'm still looking to catch an ACe leading at some point. I also ran into @NSandBNSFrailfanProductions while I was there.
Amtrak and SEPTA @ Levittown w/ CSX

Yesterday I spent a couple hours at Levittown and caught quite a few trains, including a CSX local, a SEPTA deadhead, a Silverliner heritage unit, and many Amtraks. I sort of muffed the zoom on the CSX so I’m sorry for that.
A Long Day of Norfolk Southern Railfanning in Macungie, PA

Yesterday I spent 7 hours at Macungie, my longest trainspotting trip to date. I didn’t want to stay that long but there were huge and I mean HUGE gaps between some of these trains. This was probably because of some idiots on the track near Harrisburg. Anyway, here’s what I caught.
NJT and PATCO Trains @ Ashland

I went to Ashland for about 40 minutes today and caught a few PATCOs and two NJ Transits. Sorry that the last clip is so choppy. That train came outta nowhere and it scared me!
CSX and NS pull CA-51 thru Magnolia

Today I went to Barrington and then Magnolia to catch Conrail local CA-51. It was led by a CSX GP40-2 with a nice RS3L and an NS High Hood. Fellow railfan @CRSpark1067 was also there.

I went back to Princeton Junction yesterday and caught a lot of action, including the Dinky, an Amtrak inspection car, Acelas doing 150 mph, the PRR unit again, and more.
Memorial Day Weekend Trains on the NEC at Hamilton

Yesterday I went back to Hamilton Station for my first trip to the NEC in years and caught a lot of Amtrak and NJ Transit. It was busier than usual because of the holiday weekend. The PRR heritage unit no. 4636 also appears twice in this video.

This is my first proper trainspotting trip in over 3 years and man is it good to be back! I headed up to Woodbourne yesterday and caught many SEPTAs and 4 CSX freights, as well as a meet at the end. Heritage unit no. 1973 also makes an appearance!

This is another angle of the Big Boy 4014 that I shot on its arrival in Granger on September 30, 2019, my favorite train catch by far. You can see part of my camcorder on the right. I absolutely love this scene.
A single lite unit would be restricted to 30 mph. Also the train had a clear signal and the Geep had an Approach signal meaning prepare to stop at the next signal. That’s how it was in 2019 when I retired. Rules do change all the time. I could be wrong.

After all that catenary jungle at taxpayers expense, little speed increase and still sparks from cat pantograph contact.... we got hosed
It was raining...of course there was gonna be arcing! Constant tension catenary doesn't eliminate arcing either - and the project isn't finished yet so they've yet to raise train speeds
