Which Salomon skis are those ? QST 98 ?
Close! It's the 2023 QST Blank so a bit wider than the 98.
@elskerski Prefer to the QST 106 ?
@@jamescooper1702 I haven't tried the 106, sorry! But what I can say is that I considered the whole QST freeride lineup and I was a bit scared about the 112mm width of the QST Blank since I do a lot of slope skiing as well. But it's actually quite versatile and a lot of fun on the groomed slopes as well.
Супер виды и видео!
Nice

Ma non è rossa?
I was told that it once was red, but today it's black. 😊
Is it easy to navigate without a guide and are you required to have beacon, probe and shovel?
I found it easy to navigate without a guide but that was mostly because of the many skiing tracks to follow. Maybe don't go for first tracks without a guide. 😊 Nobody checks you for avalanche equipment, but I would not go without a beacon, prope and shovel. And of course always take safety precautions. Lots of avalanches right now. Hope this helps.
@@elskerski thanks! Which route is this you took? Did you end up in Alagna village or higher up the valley?
@@jonny8597 I just took right (on the map) instead of the marked route which is left. It ended in the skiing area of Alagna, but it required a bit of walking both before and after the run on the video.
@@elskerski cool! I'll be out there at the end of the month
@@jonny8597awesome - have a nice trip! Let me know how Indren is late March if you remember. I'm in Canazei right now.
How’s the snow this season?
Two weeks ago it was fine. The temperature did flirt with 0 mid mountain some times, which resulted in slush snow in the lowest third of the area, but no issues in the top where you want to be. The temperature did rise a bit when I left and they've had a rough couple of days since. Partner up with the bergfex app or similar and look for the freezing level. That will be your best friend this season.
Can you access Indren & Freeride areas on downhill skis? Or are touring bindings and skins required? I’m a telemarketer skier but my daughter is on alpine skis… we do have avalanche beacons, are they required?
We coming on Thursday for 10 days… where should we stay? Alagna ? Champoluc? Any recommendations on which valley? Thanks
@@skyhighkite3123 you can access on downhill skis - I did it. There is a scanner at the top of the lift to check in your avalanche beacon. I would say half of the people in the lift used it. I would definitely bring it.
@@skyhighkite3123 I don't think I'm the right person to recommend where to stay due to lack of experience. I will say that I liked the atmosphere at Champoluc and I talked to people living in Alagna saying the town was too quite and dull with very few to none possibilities to shop groceries. I stayed at Maison Fosson Residence in Crest which is a small town a bit more up the mountain than Champoluc. The up side: ski in ski out (and delicious breakfast, and view!), the downside: you need to take gondola down to Champoluc to shop groceries. Hope you have a nice stay where ever you end up!
Great selections of off and on piste vids
Thanks! I try my best to show the different runs when I visit skiing areas - on and off slopes.
This is amazingly quiet! Did you go very early in the morning? Or is this just a very quiet run?? Also, it looks like there are some flat sections? Is this run OK for snowboarders?
Hi Lauren! I remember the slope as very quiet and long - like you're the only on in the world. The two people I pass in the first minute were my travel companions. As for the flat pieces I must admit I don't really know or remember, sorry.
@@elskerski Thank you!
@@Lauren-yn9zei skied and snowboarded this. You need to maintain enough speed to make the hill at 1:03 and the one following at 1:32. It’s easy to do so because the run starts with a long steep drop. It’s much steeper than it appears on camera. No more flat sections for rest of the run. Enjoy!
@@OnceABustAlwaysABustHow long did it take to snowboard down the whole thing?
@@Lauren-yn9ze it took me around 30mins. It can be done quicker but I had to stop several times to rest
thanks for clip
You're so welcome!
Sounded icy, and a fresh snow fall would do the run good.
This looks amazing, what time of year was it?
I just checked and it was mid February 2023. Great conditions!
Love the video❤ what camera are you using?
Thank you so much! It's the GoPro 11 Mini. Les Arcs 2023 was my first time using it, so I accedentially put it on HD instead of 4k, so the video is only 1080p.
@jaym760 It's the whole Belvedere run (1+2+3+4).
A skiing dinosaur at 1:30.
Nice spotted 🙂
Too bad you didnt went to the kitzheinhorn was on the same skipass , i missed fieberburn was to far away
Is kitzheinhorn nice? I am pretty sure the one connection lift was closed when I was at Fieberbrunn, also it is quite far away as you state yourself :-)
@@elskerski the kitsheinhorn is very nice the long blue is very wide on top you got the black mamba and others worth for a day or two. and the maiskogel is a nice run too . I will go back in a couple of years for zell am see but i will go back too the Kittzheinhorn too
Niceee! You should use a service such as 'promosm'.

Nice Video ,where is the camera placed ? For the futere i recommend a 4k Camera
Hi Remco, Thank you for the comment. The camera is on my chest on a GoPro Chesty. I messed up the recording settings on my new GoPro 11 Mini, so 4k was not an option.
Gonna be there in a couple of months. First time to that area. This looks like a lot of fun!
Hope you have a great trip. Saalbach is lots of fun!
Hello can I ask if 146 is good for a beginner? Is it steep at any point?
I would say it's a perfect beginner slope. Very flat. The only thing is that it's quite long.
This is why I love your channel. I think you will be interested in P-R-O-M-O-S-M!
