For a stand-alone character, my favorite would be PaperCrane As for an AU, storyshift or AfterTale, no real reason for either, just think Geno looks dope and StoryShift has that nice vibe to it

My fav is green sans he is just funny and really threatining the most threatening thing is you killing his dinner

My favorite is Epictale, he can be both goofy and lighthearted, but when you look into his mind it gets VERY deep and traumatic

Idk honestly. Its a fight between Outertale, Dusttale, Xtale, Ultratale (or Vitaltale doesn't really matter), Horrortale and whatever AU Possession Sans (the one who's like possessed by Flowey in ULC) is from

Horror tale is easily my favourite with Dusttale getting a close second. I love the idea of a dystopian underground that is set after a neutral run because I feel like neutral runs are heavily overshadowed, Horrortale is a concept is beautiful and Horror Sans doesn’t fall off at all, he’s written like a shell of what he once was which fits perfectly with the tragic and traumatic backstory that he was given which gives him a motive to be all freaky, and even in his own twisted way he still seems caring, whilst he does kill humans he doesn’t eat them himself he only does it to feed the other people in snowdin which I’m sure is heavily appreciated, and on top of that Assured Prey + Greed are great horror Sans themes. Dusttale is a bit trickier since I believe that it was executed horribly wrong and Sans leads more to the fanon side then the canon side. But the sheer concept of Dusttale makes up for the execution of the AU, Sans needing to gain LV is a very clever way of integrating the LOVE system for other monsters, plus I like the idea that every boss would be the same enemy with new powers and harder attack patterns. And the slower megalovania is also a nice theme to listen too. Can’t go wrong with fatal error too

Aftertale,mostly because sans acts more like sans,the only issue is probably him getting too sad for papyrus's death

Outertale hands down I just love the look of space and love the character designs (though if they were purple it’d be a 100/10 instead of a 10/10)
