thanks ANAS that was really helpful ; What do you think of the course "Introduction to Statistical Learning " by Standford University , for an intermediate level data science student ?
I just had a quick look at it and it looks good. Statistics are an important skill to have as a data scientist so I'm sure it will be worth it. All the best.

Hi bro, Thank you for your advice in video. I have cleared the PL-300 certification by scoring 800. I took the exam at a Pearson center. Currently, I am facing an issue with the certificate. It has been more than 24 hours, and I haven't received any email confirmation from Microsoft regarding the certificate. I have also checked the dashboard by visiting my profile, but I couldn't find the certificate. Can you please provide their email ID to contact them or guide me on the steps to raise a ticket?

@@madhuk664 give it another day then contact the support on Microsoft’s website. However, first go to your account, then credentials, then certifications, you should see that you passed the certification there. Let me know how it goes
@@anas_riad I have been checking since yesterday, and I just checked again. It is still showing no certificate in that section. Can i know, how did you reach to them , did you sent a mail , or did you raised ticket Thank you for your response
@ I didn’t reach out to them since I received the certification on the same day. If you go on: learn.microsoft.com Sign in. Click on top right where you have your name then profile. You’ll find on the next page a section called Credentials. Then on the next page you’ll find 2 options (applied skills or Certifiations). Click on certifications. You should find your certification there. If it’s not looks on google how to contact Microsoft.

hii can you suggest high value coursses provided by top firms and colleges which provide free certification as well?
You can find free courses from top universities to study for free (as I shared in the video) but if you want to get the certification you'll have to pay. Usually, top firms charge to pass their certifications (like AWS, GCP...) but their study material is free.
Thank you.

Any predictions for data science in 2025?
Great video, can you mention how can we improve our soft skills
Thank you very much. Depends on what you want to work on. For example, if you want to improve your communication skills you can have more conversations with people in your field, or attend meetups for tech people, or make videos. These can all help you improve your communication skills. If it's on how to better report to stakeholders you can do a research on what experienced data scientist do and try get inspiration from them. Remember it's a long-term game no need to rush things.

Are you using Power BI on Parallels on a macbook? If so, curious to know your set up. Currently deploying it on a Macbook Pro M2 on Parallels and PowerBi is pretty slow. Thanks!
@@JakeLovinger I used it before on Parallels but then got a windows machine from my previous employer and had a better experience. However, parallels does the job on Mac from my experience.
Are querying the data as imports or direct query? Direct query might be slow to its near real time properties.
@@anas_riad Thanks for the reply! So far I've been importing excel files and querying that way. Does that answer your question?
@@anas_riad Which mac machine were you using / what were the specs? Debating on whether I should invest in a windows machine as opposed to upgrading to a more powerful mac
@@JakeLovinger yes it means you’re using import which should be quick to use. I use a MacBook Pro M1 Pro 16gb ram. It did the job well for most cases
