From the liner notes: "The delightful Mayor of Lukenbach, Hondo Crouch, was close to many of us in the Texas music community and we are thankful that his child-like view of his small town in the morning was preserved on tape for this album...none of us dreamed that Hondo would be gone forever in just a few months." Recorded live at the Outdoor Theater, Quiet Valley Ranch, Kerrville, TX on May 27-30, 1976.
