So true! Right on Spirit! I’m engulfed in “things!’ Sparkles everywhere… and at the same time, clutter! While I ask, “how do I see myself?” “How do I know who I am enough to feel love for myself?” “How do I think I feel so much love for others and not myself?” Stuff, stuff, stuff? I want to take a walk with me to find true love for myself, not sadness, not pity, definitely not anger. If I love you, I know why! It’s easier to not love who I am unless I’m alone with myself and savoring something like the fresh peach I’m about to have for breakfast. I know I’m blessed… but where is love? Is about eating that peach this morning and savoring no mind? Living the moment, not waiting for the next event? Who’s on first? 🦋💙🤔

I had to copy today’s message in my journal. So perfect for helping me get more centered as I start this day. My days have been troubling lately with a couple of bumps that threaten or challenge me to stay centered. Aging is wobbly in many ways… it’s not only in the feet, but it can trample my thoughts and my spirit hides like I did as a child where I had to find my solace in the woods nearby… where I could breathe without fear and talk to turtles, water moccasins, and frogs. There was always a water moccasin swimming in the pond to remind me of my fear of danger. He taught me to stay away from danger. The turtle taught me to come out of my shell and taught me how to listen to nature . Frogs taught me to trust and be myself and be curious and find out who I am. And wild onions taught me to stand tall. I knew elephants were buried deep in the earth below me and got a whipping for that tall tale, but I found out 30 years later, they were discovered right where I stood! I returned to that sacred childhood space of good smells, quiet, peace and I gave my thanks there this morning with all of my childhood creatures. Have a blessed day! He was more terrified than you meaning you weren't in a vulnerable situation. It's wise to take safety precautions but over assuming the worst will cause unnecessary anxiety. Cars can catch fire, planes can fall from the sky, but useless anxiety and stress can cause far more damage statistically than most other possible scenarios. Life is too short to live in fear of what might happen.

I didn’t want to get out of bed today, so I didn’t. I let myself, only be interrupted to hear messages as well. ‘’Stay at rest, let everything rest. As you rest, things that you normally tackle will wait for you.” The calm was what I needed. Eventually the flowers, needing a drink, got one, my dog got the breakfast he refuses to eat, city warning alert sounds went off, and there are other chores to distract me. And then I heard your message and knew that the best thing sometimes looks like nothing unless your heart swells to respond to something that felt like a hug. ❤
