Fort Widley is located on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth. A series of Forts were built around Portsmouth about 1860 to defend Portsmouth Harbour from a French invasion.

Because Portsmouth is on a low lying island, a new seawall is being built all around it to prevent flooding. This video is of the area between Clarance Pier and the completed Pyramids section, and will take about two years to construct.
