The E.A.T. / Engadin Art Talks organises an annual forum of art and its neighbouring disciplines in Zuoz in the Engadin valley. By gathering leading thinkers to share their ideas, visions, and expertise, E.A.T. seeks to find novel perspectives on a socially relevant theme that frames each edition.
Since its beginning, E.A.T. has featured more than 290 international speakers and contributors, such as artists, architects, filmmakers, writers, and designers.
E.A.T. aims to facilitate a dialogue between leading thinkers and culture enthusiasts while perpetuating the history of the Engadin as a place of intense activity and critical thinking.
In addition to the annual forum in Zuoz, E.A.T. presents a nomadic series of talks throughout the year across some of Europe’s cultural capitals to pursue its mission abroad.

Hernando Chindoy Chindoy (Indigenous Inga Leader of the Wuasikamas Initiative, Columbia)
With an introduction by Philip Ursprung (E.A.T. curator)
Hernando Chindoy Chindoy is an expert in traditional knowledge, biodiversity and ecosystem services. He has 20 years of experience in participatory research working with indigenous people and formulation of comprehensive life plans and/or mandates and action plans to overcome the scourge of drugs in rural communities in Colombia. His legacy is in the constant defense of a deeper and more open approach to the relationship between plant intelligence, indigenous autonomy and legislation, which he demonstrates in practice through the Wuasikamas-Guardians of the Earth initiatives and the process of establishing the International Pluriversity ËCONEÊRÃ- “knowledge to harmonize, not to invade.” Hernando has been an Invited speaker at various universities in Colombia, the Americas and Europe.

Herr Gauck jedenfalls macht keine Hoffnung; er lebt exakt ein solches dahingleitendes Leben wie das, was er der heutigen Jugend vorhält.
