there was a little milk left and she wanted it lol cat milk Garfield crazy cat
Thank you
I was going to jump on the "no need to pre-oil the filter" band wagon (non-turbo and the oil just drains back into the pan anyway) but having the oil soaked into the paper is a good argument.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion is the way I look at it lol it’s the way I was taught by someone I respected a lot and I’ve done it for almost 40 years had vehicles that I used for work that got a lot of hard stop and go miles and never had a engine failure so it’s just what I do makes me sleep better at night 😂
True to life video. Very complete. Not like some videos that skip over important parts. THANK YOU!!!
I just got done doing my 50 hr service and I want to thank you for the video it was very helpful. I can’t believe you weren’t swearing more through out the process because it the hydrostatic transmission fluid and filter especially the screen were a pain in the ass, who ever designed the idea that you have to take the frame rail out to get to the screen should be fired! Also the person who wrote the manual should be fired! The owners manual gives wrong information saying the engine oil takes 6 quarts of engine oil when mine took only 4 with a filter! And no way the hydrostatic transmission is taking 9.25 gallons and does not have a dip stick. Plus everything else in the manual is very vague! Anyway thanks for you help!
Lots of machining shaving found on my drain plug and on my screen. They are spiral shaving so I know they left that crap from the factory smh.
Yea I’ve heard some horror stories about shavings I got fortunate with mine ..
How much is one like it worth
I raked hay with a 39 B back in the 70s.
These are tough little tractors and they run forever with very little maintenance. I love the sound because it brings back a lot of great memories.
Right on
Lucky guy got john deere
Fantastic tractor, and grandpa!
Thanks 👍
wo so young man cant tractor riding whit grand pa
It is pretty fun driving one of those it’s one of my favorite tractors I’ve drive in 👍🏿
Just think of the day when he can start the tractor!
Awesome tractor
we got a great deal on it we just had to replace a tire don't make them like this any more lol
The first one I saw was in 1970 was called the yo-yo
Great to see!!!!
thx appreciate it
I wish my grandpa would have sold me his JD A many years ago he wouldn't
This young man will never forget this moment. Priceless !
now that is startin' life right! Grandpa's Rule!
Wonderful Grandpa Grandson and Tractor time. I was just a bit younger when our neighbor put me on a similar age of Alis Chalmers . I just steered and smiled while pulling a pick up Discs around the Feild. that was almost 50 years ago. It's a subdivision now. unfortunately
I grew up with the old deers farmed a lot with them .. I wish more people would get kids into stuff like this it would help keep them out of trouble lol
old school john deere nice driver helper hand with everything
Почти сто летний трактор и едет а русские все в металом сдали.
Hand clutch, very nice.
most my tractor hours have been on a hand clutch lol
@@statelinelife3206 I learned to drive on a 1955 Case with a hand clutch, tricycle wheels and no power steering. It builds character.
@@johnknippenberg-LandmarkYards those old tractors made a man outta you lol
There you go. Now, you can drive it when you can start it.
Lol I think it will be awhile before he can do that ... this is first tractor I've done the flywheel starting on it very interesting , its amazing how much equipment has changed over the years
he will treasure that moment for the rest of his life! Nice job Grandpa!!!!
thank you I hope he grows to love them as much as I do
I bought my son a super c when he was 4. He is now 15 and he still is in love with that tractor! Whomever owned it years ago replaced the original motor with one from a combine. This motor has 40 Hp and really makes this little tractor pull. He is so proud of his tractor! This thing isn't just a super c, it's super sonic!
I like the old alices I had a gleaner E combine when I was younger and still farming was a great machine
Man I wish my grandpa had gotten me into tractors younger. I found out after his passing one of his closest friends, who lives two miles away from me, has 70ish beautifully restored IH tractors. I am a red guy but I got a 39 b and 70 diesel recently. I actually really like the b, the 70 has proven to be a royal pain to even revive.
they can be a pain lol but don't give up it will be worth it in the long run ...is your 70 a electric start or a pony motor
@@statelinelife3206 pony motor is hot and previous owner left it removed and outside for 9 nears. I am in the process of converting it to electric start, that's where the headaches begin. Apparently no one still makes the complete kits to do the conversion and am piecing it together bit by bit.
I love this! I'm a young adult and it makes me happy to see kids getting started in this hobby at a young age. Congratulations sir!!
Thank you I appreciate the kind words I grew up with the 2 cylinders and love them hoping to pass this love on to my grandkids
@@statelinelife3206 when I was a kid this was no hobby you had to learn to mow and rake hay and haul shit
@@tland3900 oh I know I farmed with 2 730 diesels and a 530 and those are great memories to me
My dog does that too
always good for a laugh lol
Its a cat in disguise
lol hes something else.... we also have a yorkie that acts so much like a cat its crazy
I'm mad at myself for watching this short
Yep
Mom's don't understand us boys doing wild and crazy things
your so right !! lol but as a father I no that was such a fun part of my youth ...she was worried at first but I said let him be a boy but he has to be wearing his helmet of course but luckily he's got a great mother
Awesome!
thanks, trying to get grandkids into the old tractors and equipment
Sounds great.
Thank you Will sound better when get back together engine out right now for rebuild
So much power it might need a battery charger for warm up
That thing plays havoc on starters lol actually have the engine out right now spun a rod brg gonna go totally radical with rebuild
That’s badass that one of my dream cars
It was mine to loved chargers since I was kid was a family friends sat better part of 30 years in garage before I bought it had close to 10 years now
@@statelinelife3206 nice do you drive it a lot or naw
Not as much as would like right now rebuilding engine she will sound better yet when done
