I saw this band way a long time ago at the Seattle EMP . Bought their album, this exact one. Was one of my top fav albums. Lost it somewhere over the years. Tough search to find this but I'm so so happy to hear it again! Thanks Rod. Your blues are superb!

Thank you so much for posting this. We were big Laura Love fans after hearing the band at the Crossroads Mall in Bellevue, WA, in 1991. We have all of her albums, but it has been all these years since seeing a performance. I never quite understood why the band was not better known. Great guitar work, by the way!

Thank you Mr. Cook. That was beautiful. Rod is the kind of player/singer/songwriter that can and does literally everything, and he does it as well or better than anyone I know. If you don’t know him, do yourself a favor. Find him where you can. He performs and does his own show on Facebook. He has an impressive number of original songs and CD’s to prove it. He can play Jazz/ Blues/ Folk… everything. He is a Northwest Living Legend. He plays locally around the Seattle and Tacoma area and beyond. I’ve had the privilege to meet him and watch him play live. He is one the nicest guys I know. He loves his wife dearly and the banter they have during his online shows only adds to the fun! - SJ

I was seven years old when I first heard this at the evening concert. It was an artist that shared a name with me, so I was HYPED to see her set and made sure I was back from.walking around the craft section in time to hear her. I became a fan pretty much instantly.

Thanks for sharing this informative review Rod! It is good to know that the Vox is a great option for those unexpected times of distress when your craps out on you when playing live.

Sounds surprisingly good. Might sound even better when you play in a band as playing solo leads one to like fuller, bassier tone. In your group the bottom is full anyway with the bass player so the mids and highs are what’s missing. Good review and the amp is great, pound per pound!

The Bandmaster just sounds more vibrant. It might just be because it is turned-up louder? The Vox certainly doesn't sound bad, but the Fender just sounds better to my ear. But, for airplane travel considerations: yep, the Vox! I would have been interesting to not say which clip was from which amp until the very end to remove listener bias. Good luck with tour Rod! P.

The solos in this song are so amazing and you make it look so easy! It's a shame you and this band aren't together anymore. Every musician in the band were top notch talent with such spectacular chemistry.
