It’s been a rough year indeed. I’m still looking for a game that I enjoy and also provides lots of content opportunities. I’ll be back with something so I appreciate the support!! Too bad some of the bigger developers get greedy rather than producing good games.

I saw all the orbs and just wanted to unlock all the characters but I just don’t have the will to upgrade them all. They could have made a really good game but they just weren’t willing to put the effort in. The gift was pretty nice though!!

There’s so much they could have done. It’s disappointing that they didn’t really put much thought into it other than selling characters.

Looks like they’ll still cycle khronicle events with the rewards attached. The MK1 rewards that you link may still work but there won’t be any effort put in so not sure about calendar rewards and the like. It’s a shame that they let the game die like that.

It’s a shame that it came to this. I was lucky in the sense that I never spent a cent on it but I do feel for players that did spend money. I think they’ve known for a while that they were going to close it but just let players keep spending. Definitely not cool.

I feel ya. They had a base for a really good game but it feels like they just gave up. As soon as they dropped 2 story chapters at the same time, it felt like they were over it.

I also had it happen to heroes of middle earth a few months ago. It feels very much like some of the big developers are using the IP to get some quick cash without delivering a proper game. It’s quite sad that they do these things.

It could have been a good game if they put some effort into it. It’s a shame when developers give up on something without really giving it a go.

I’m looking at a few things so hopefully there’s something that grabs my attention. Started playing a couple of games but they really didn’t impress that much. Dawn of ages is looking ok so I’ll give it a few days and see if it’s worth sticking with.

If you have it then definitely give it a try. You can always swap it out later. The main things you’re looking for in the relic are attack, crit chance and crit damage. Even some mastery is good for him.

They definitely need some new content. No idea what they’re thinking.

Generally the relic they release with each character in the khronicles is designed for that character but if you didn’t get it, look for relics that focus on damage. Attack is always great for her but if you can get her crit chance over 50% then you’ll really see her hit hard. If you can get her crit chance that high, crit damage is the next thing to look for. I’m currently running Peacemakers helmet on her but when her event comes back around, I might swap it out. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately she comes with the Outworld Relic which didn't feel like a powerful relic at all considering her abilities (which I have to Evil Raiden as it boosts him and Fujin so much). I don't know how much the Outworld relic could help her, but I guess if I always have Klassic Sonya on my team with her they can both benefit from it. But I've got Raiden leveling up Fujon with Outworld Kamidogu, and later that will also boosy Fire God Liu Kang as well. Does the peacemaker helmet really help Kitana in this situation? That's the second best relic in your opinion? I had the Earthrealm Kamidogu on her and only just realized Kitana doesn't do any DOT, she just spreads it. Ugh.

So outworld komidogu is definitely best if you’re running the klassic team because all of the bonuses come from having different classes and affinities in the same team so she will definitely hit hard. Peacemaker helmet also has great damage boosts but it’s based on having a higher accuracy than your opponent. Fortunately, the relic has a huge base accuracy boost which will almost guarantee a higher score than your opponent. As long as you can cover attack, crit chance and crit damage then you should be fine. Just consider who else is in the team when looking at secondary abilities.

@@blkdr4gongaming thanks so much! That is very helpful information, thank you. But also silly me just read that Kitana's special does indeed cause BLEED which is a damage over time. I believe the Earthrealm Kamidogu has been working on her as well. For some reason I heard somewhere she didn't have a DOT effect on her own, but it appears her special 100% causes bleed so at least I got that part figured out 😅

I hear you. I’m not sure what their goal is and there’s no communication from the devs at all. I like getting new characters but we need other game modes to use them in. If I can think of 3 or 4 different ideas just off the top of my head then surely they can come up something good. Hopefully they’re working on something.

@@blkdr4gongaming It seems like they abandoned ship awhile back and are just releasing what they had left. It sucks cause it could be really good if they only put in a little effort.

My thoughts are that they still have plans or they wouldn’t have bothered updating Kabal or Klassic Sub. I could be wrong but if they were planning on dropping the game then there’s no point spending time fixing characters. I’m trying to remain optimistic but it’s a little frustrating.

The last battle on the video was in arena. The only other Klassic character I have is Kitana so they aren’t going to be better than MK1. I tried to use a few different characters with them but he probably won’t do much for me in arena. I mainly want him for events/story where you need 4 attackers for 3 stars. Hopefully we get more game modes soon so we have more places to use our roster.

He was really good when he was first released but they nerfed him and he’s not as good now. Dark Raiden can work well with him but even a Demi god team struggles with the MK1 meta. Maybe he’ll make a comeback at some point.

Hi mate. I just started playing again about 2 or 3 months ago but I’m not spending as much time as I use to. I mainly play it just of a night time if there’s not much to do.

They won’t add khronicles for them but it would be nice to have smaller scenario chapters with maybe 5 battles and some exclusive rewards even if they make them really difficult to beat. I still think they need way more 3 and 4 star characters. 5 star has now become the biggest group to collect. So many characters they can add. Hopefully there’s a big update around the corner.

There’s no legendary gear in the game yet. Hopefully we see it soon. If they add to the boss battles, we might see it then but as of now, we haven’t heard anything about it.

​@@blkdr4gongaming In the story mode, in the last chapter if you check the enemy's gear, they have legendary gear.

Yes, it’s in the game to set the difficulty of battles but they haven’t made it available to collect as yet. They even have it in the filters for gear but they just haven’t added it for player rewards or even in packs. Fingers crossed we see it soon.

I haven’t heard anything about it being shut down but MK1 team definitely dominates the game and needs something new to rival it.

I had that same experience. Raiden and Fujin are ok characters in some areas but they can’t really make up a good foundation with Dark Raiden. If you’re looking to use them as an arena team, I don’t know that there’s a good combination just yet. Hopefully we get some other characters so we can see what Dark Raiden is really capable of. My advice is to always save the blue orbs so you can unlock the better characters as they’re released. Everything you see in my game is free to play so if I get any good results I’ll do another video to showcase it.

I did a video on this when he first came out but the most important thing to add to his gear is mastery. Most of his abilities scale from it. Run 1 mastery set, 1 health then tenacity is probably the best third set. The accessory can get mastery as the primary stat so you definitely want to make sure you have that. His relic from his event will be the best one to run but if you don’t have it, look for anything with mastery.

The MK1 team is a must have then the klassic team is a close second. This game is actually good at allowing you to use most characters in different scenarios. Arena is only a small part of the game but the MK1 team is definitely the stand out. I’m thinking the next khronicle event will start to introduce the next meta. If you like to spend on the game then by all means collect them all. Once you put the resources into characters they’ll be useful. Getting 3 stars on different modes takes a variety of characters.

He looks that way. Especially if you have the other Demi gods to go with him. It will be interesting to test him out. The Quan Chi boss battle is where I’m most curious!

dark raiden dominate in battle arena with wind god fujin

The most important stat to look out for is mastery because a few of his abilities scale from that statistic. Definitely run a mastery set and then you can mix things up a bit depending on what equipment you have. I run mastery, health and tenacity. Because he does have a heal, a health set gives you a higher max health for a bit extra healing and can keep him alive longer. I use tenacity just in case he gets targeted with debuffs so he has a better chance of resisting but you could run defence or even crit chance if you have gear with good mastery stats on it. As for the relic, go for the one in his event store. It’s easy to get and is designed to compliment his abilities.

Make sure the battle isn’t on auto then you just drag it where you want it. Most of the time auto will get it done but doing things manually gives you more control and you can time abilities better or even save them for the last wave.

I might put something together but it will be mostly done in theory since I won’t have him or other characters to test him out. I’ll see if I can put something together next week if I can make it interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.

It depends on the situation. She will always work best in MK1 teams because they all make each other stronger. Neatherrealm seems to work ok but just adding her as a defender should still be fine if you put the resources into her because she has a lot of damage reduction and healing that she gives to herself. The only real threat is having more than one body affinity against her before she can use her special. More so if they apply burn to her but that’s about the only weakness so far.

I don’t have him unlocked but at the moment, I think she’s better simply because there are more ways to improve her with synergy. Even stand alone, she’s a very solid defender. If you don’t have the MK1 members, run her with Quan Chi and Shinnok then add your best warrior or assassin even if they aren’t apart of that team and you should see some good results. She’s definitely worth the summon but I always encourage players to try different combinations because you never know what you might come up with.

A defender is exactly what the MK1 team needs but it will make them a pretty tough opponent. I’ll definitely bring the summoning next week.

If his shield is up, it can damage Kenshi a fair bit and his special really hits hard. You need to put a lot of resources into him but I have come up against a few that took Kenshi out.

Nice combo. I really don’t have many attackers once I started looking at them so it’s between Frost, Kitana and Raiden but still enough to get it all done!!

The new stage looks really good. I use iPad Pro which is why the view looks a bit different.

It’s a great way to max kombo metres and also upgrade others to 6*. Bummer that you didn’t get any 5* from it though.

I like it. It’s worth saving green orbs when these come around.
