I got this back in the day clear vinyl love the night of the living dead outro
Skycamefalling and curlupanddie hands down two of the best og metalcore bands from the late 90s and early 2000s
thanks for the reccomendation
amazing.
Perfection
It's impressive how many underrated, hidden bands there are in this era.
Gold
wow💙
I remember being handed this at hellfest 2001 on cd
sportbikes and breakdowns…
Nítido 🏴
beautiful
I had forgotten about this EP somehow, even though I absolutely loved Skycamefalling back in the day and I wanted to hear much more like this. They did a re-release of 10.21 that sounds great.
the remix is dogshit
The Elephant Graveyard still might be their best song. Amazing band.
Amazing !!!!
on repeat <3333
One of my all-time favorite bands
remain is such a beautiful ass song
st anger snare
nowhere's near as annoying as Tard Ulrich's snare sound.
@@mydixiewrecked315 lel hahahaha 😅😅😅
It's criminal that they never made an entire album that sounds like this
i know this sounds incredible
Wow
The best, and they’re back❤
Where is the artwork for the album cover from
中学の頃ずっと繰り返し聴いてて39歳になった今もここに聴きにきます色褪せることがないですね タイトルの通り決して忘れることがないサウンド
Johnny recommended 🔥🤝🏼
album gets better with time
I'm here because TBDM. And man this is amazing.
did they cover a song?
@@cigarettecat3981 they just mentioned them as a huge influence
@@cigarettecat3981listening to What A Horrible Night EP and its sounds is so similar.
Skycamefalling, 7 Angels 7 Plagues, With Dead Hands Rising, Endthisday, Undying, State Fault, Prayer For Cleansing, some amazing bands who barely made any music around the 1997-2003 period.
Endthisday 🤘
PFC and Undying are unmatched, NC hardcore forever
@@novembersneverending Early BtBaM?
@@paratext fuck yes, colors was one of my earliest metal albums, didnt even find out it was from my state until later
@@novembersneverending I actually meant their earliest stuff from the self-titled/silent circus era. I actually can't get into their more progressive metal stuff - just not my thing. Love the first two records though.
would you guys call this Deathcore? or Technical Deathmetal, has to be one of the first bands with "breakdowns" or whatever this shit is heavy as fuck. this band is like suicide silence had a baby with the black dahlia murder.
It's like a baby between old og Underoath and At the gates/TBDM, but I don't think it as "deathcore" propperly, though there's definetly an influence going from there. Many bands in metalcore, hardcore, and death metal (tech, melo, or pure deathmetal) of that time have that dry-raw sound with sharp edgy riffs and heavy hardcore breakdowns
There are brutal death metal influences here. It IS deathcore BUT it’s just BARELY metalcore meaning that it definitely fits the metalcore genre more but just barely. Remember metalcore can have death metal influences too.
Metalcore
remember, this is what was catagorized as "metalcore" this was looonnnnngggg before the dreaded psuedo label of "deathcore" most bands labeled "deathcore" are a pure insult to the technicality of playing Death Metal.-there is NO "CORE" IN DEATH "METAL."@@MySpaceDxC_Suffo_AtTheGates \m/*666*\m/
@@MySpaceDxC_Suffo_AtTheGates this release is exactly what "metalcore" was when it was initially released.
prayer for cleansing was the first band I had ever heard with screaming, I was like 12 years old and didn't tell my friends about them because I thought they would think I was crazy.
Ct had a great scene I am sure it still does
I used to practice my screams to this album all the time, especially Embracing Emptiness! I ended up being a front man & it was a blast!
CT is just a breeding ground for anger and groove. And then the creepy shit. I fucking love it.
Oh and I call foul. Either Prophesy of Lies was imbedded wrong or the mix engineer got drunk lmao
Ground Zero use to drive down into NY a lot for shows in the mid to late 90s. They played a lot in the Hudson Valley area during that time. Sum of All Fears, another great CTHC band would also pop up here to play from time to time.
HOLY FUCK It's like being pulled back to the hills. PIT PARTIES and FUGGIN GOOD TIMES. 🤘😎🤘
That's me playing drums, I can't believe it's been 20 years.
Let’s start a band
Thanks for the music :)
Did you play in any other bands after this, would be interested in checking your stuff
You killed that shit bro. TFETS and 10.21 are phenomenal
🙌🏽
I used to have this 7." Brings back some memories! Thanks for posting this shit!! 💪💪👍👍
this band is so under appreciated
Wow, never saw this art before, it's very different than the CD I had
Masterpiece!
sounds nice but the cover doesnt really match the music imo
Kind of like the inalienable dreamless by discordinance axis or cypress dust witch by portraits of past
That’s the point of the cover.
Almost like it was intentional 🤔
Fiyah!!!
They are playing two shows in Dec. in Winston Salem 2022!
I was there! It was amazing
@@jayla-marie900 I am SO sad that I missed this. WTF
Dave's vocals are unfortunately a bit worn out but they still sounded great.
It happens at 16:22 for me. Mmm sweet licks lol.
I feel older enough to post a long comment, lol. This is such an incredible band! i am just realizing how cool the bass lines are, i was so crazy about this band back to 02, when i was just 14 years old :) my brothers and I started to listen bands like FATA and Poison the Well, which i love too but SCF was always deeper in the heart. It´s such a powerful and emtotional band. We were the first folks in Juarez Mexico who started to play this type of music, and we formed two bands, and it was for bands like SCF who shaped our taste, couple of years later a huge crowd was ready for this scene, we enjoyed our youth playing in local venues, people was so supportive and fun, many of us enjoyed to cross the border to watch pro bands playing in venues, i remember my first show was The Kinison, PTW and The Bled, what a great show, i always wished to see SCF back to those years but a friend from California watched them on a local venue and said that they were freaking awesome.
I rlly wish I was around during that time I'm currently 16 and knee deep into skramz emo and metal core these bands are so gold idk how this band in particular didn't blow up this ep and the two other albums are fuckin amazing
I saw SCF live back in the early 2000's and they were awesome. Them and Poison the Well are still some of my all time favorite bands.
it didn’t get any better for me back then than Skycamefalling’s 10.21, The Bled and The Kinison.
Agree with all of you guys
@@omarmunozcastorena4466 where did you come across to see them? in Hell Paso or did you make the trek to Tucson to see The Bled in their element at Skrappy’s? I left AZ before they took off in 2001 and didn’t see them until 03 in MN with Daughters. I still haven’t ever been able to catch SCF myself.
My #1 album in metal is what I say everytime I hear this. Will Goodyear on drums. First btbam album is my favorite probably because of him.
大貫も小浜もこの頃が一番かっこいい声出してた
the music speaks to me on sooo many levels
I had this album, i am so pissed someone stole my cd's from the 90's and early 2000, and they didnt even listen to hardcore or metal fucking METH HEADS.........thankfully I can listen to all of those albums on youtube and spotify! This is my favorite recording of rain in endless fall i love the cover artwork kinda reminds me of Undying album covers
Massive shout-out to that drummer. Fuckin' phenomenal \M/
.William Goodyear.
