I missed a small section and started watching again when the cross section was being drawn on the opposite side of the arrows. I was super confused for a minute tool I went back and listened to the fact that you just picked a place along F.F.E. - thought about sending in an RFI 😂
I took the water resource test after April 2024 and had one question like this
Did u make the commercial video really need to learn commercial plans
I left you an email sir can you please check it
This was interesting. Thanks!

Hello I would love to talk to you about becoming an engineer please
Love this info. Thanks for sharing and creating.
@@bradwidman happy to share! Can’t wait to dive into more of the final design drainage
Have you thought of going over specifications?
@@THESEVENOHTWO what type of specifications?
@griffinfurlong I think an overview of of Specs. I just started in water/wastewater and specs in a project is completely new to me.
Merciless all your videos are awesome- May I politely ask you to include metric units as majority round the globe are using metric unit ( SI Units). Please try I am aware in US you on Imperial Unit. Thanx
@@SirKombabomba I can try my best to incorporate metric however 90% of my audience uses US 🥲 I can convert some of the design tools I have to metric
@@griffinfurlong I fully appreciate to your prompt reply-Thanx😶🌫😶🌫
Thank you!
Great video. Thank you. Can you share your "Cleo the Consultant" example when you get it a little more dialed in?
@@kylewroblewski5419 thanks for tuning in! And yes, I’ll share each of the GPTs I’m creating. It’s starting to dial in more
Good day sir, when I see the video I thought you did a design with civil 3d not knowing its explanation, can you one practical design with civil 3d pipe network thank
@@chinedunwaogbo9546 Appreciate the comment, but with all due respect this is a practical design. This is all part of the preliminary study you can do during due diligence phase with a private client. If these concepts are not understood, Civil3D should never be touched. Final design will include the StormCAD or StormTab excel, which will then lead to final plans. We have to take things step by step. But thanks for tuning in. I will gladly produce the next videos related to StormCAD and Civil3D.
Revised the Drainage Pipe Sizing Tool to add: directions, how it's calculating, and more clarity. All tools are currently 50% off until January 31, 2025. payhip.com/b/YAr3F

Thank you. Good video. I like GPT Stuff for Civil Engineering

Great video! Keep it up!!
Thank you! Can't wait to dive more into the StormCAD and calculating HGL and velocities
It was really useful Please don’t forget your promise grading Thank you very much
I promise I haven't forgotten! Thanks for tuning in
The casual.. "Yeah I rap, thats how I remember it" LOL I thought your were just playin at first but I looked up some of your songs! Good stuff!! Thanks
lol that honestly made me laugh when I snuck that in there in my edits. Appreciate that man! More songs coming soon
Thank you for making these it’s really helping me understand better for when I get hired
Completely agreed 👍
I left you an email, can you check?
Thank you Griffin
I think you'll get your exact quotes and references way more easily with a good search engine rather than a chatbot. And it'll be way more sustainable too (the water and electricity usage of LLMs is really high, particularly considering the performance).
Great use case
I believe the key is to place the formatting and steps you want within the configuration. That's how I had to train my chatbot to handle things more specifically. Each new chat is like starting over in conversation and it forgets previous conversations
@@randomname2366 I’ll keep that in mind! It definitely forgot my simple formatting commands from last week
I was running into similar issues while building my GPT for Texas.
We are training a few GPTs for proposal writing, technical reports, plans QA/QC, public comment aggregation, and agency standard research.
@@kings5223 I’d love a proposal database, that’s a good one. I’ve started the Plan/QAQC

How did you procure the master utility plan? is this a drawing that your office created? Did you get it from the utility company or the municipality? can anyone get a copy or do you have to be an engineer or builder to get a copy? Thank you for the lessons
@@PedPad-v2m we created this drawing in AutoCAD. All pipes shown are proposed. We had to request survey of the existing pipe connections offsite, as well as topo internal to the property
Hey man, would really like to connect and talk to you about a civil engineering career and through your videos.
