do you like oriental club lounge or plaza premium better? I was at oriental club lounge last month, but going back to Taiwan in a few months so was wondering if I should stick with oriental or try out plaza premium

I worked in Lagos Nigeria for several years in the mid 2010's and my wife is from Thailand. We would take trips back to Bangkok three times a year and were fortunate enough to fly business class. There was one particular trip in 2013 where the wine selection had an amazing Spanish cabernet that may have been one of the best wines I've ever tasted. I got blasted on the stuff. Between the two legs of the trip the flight attendants just kept filling up the glass over and over and over. I lost track, but would not be surprised if I didn't get served three bottles in total. Well on the way back to Lagos, we stopped in duty free and I decided to see if they had this particular wine in stock. Sure enough they did... for $280 a bottle. And those flight attendants were pouring it out like it was water. Can't beat that 🙂

Surprised and mildly disappointed that Qatar airways still uses this kind of business class these days. Not dissing Qatar airways and im sure their service is superb but I expected the Qsuite to be available on that route

I am taking this flight in a few weeks. Is it the one that leaves around 2am in the morning? I was reading online that the lounges would be closed by around 11pm. (Edit--actually, I see that you flew out from Vancouver, not Toronto. I'll be taking Toronto to Taipei on EVA).

All my favorite Christmas Spots in Manhattan. Thank God they still have macy*s Herald Square...the Best Department Store in the World at Christmas...although their Chicago Loop...State Street Store is also beautiful...and has one thing they don't.
