The Karasinski Family Tradition of Passing the Chucky Ducky
The Chucky Ducky is a Karasinski family tradition that has been practiced for decades. The Chucky Ducky is a stained glass duck that is to be given to a person who vomits or upchucks in a spectacular or impressive fashion. In this video, we see Ken Karasinski pass the Chucky Ducky to Kenneth Lekashman, for his fantastic performance on a crab fishing trip in December 2021.

A live reading, as I traditionally do for my immediate friends and family, of Dave Barry’s Year in Review. But since 2020 has been a Category 5 Crapstorm of a year, and the year of Zoom meetings, why not record it for all and hopefully it will bring you some laughs - enjoy! www.miamiherald.com/living/liv-columns-blogs/dave-barry/article247890015.html

How To Enjoy Cognac
Переглядів 129 тис.8 років тому
I happened upon this wonderful preparation of fine cognac while adventuring in Entebbe, Uganda several years ago. Many people wonder why cognac is so expensive and sought after and I frequently describe this ritual to interested parties, so please enjoy! In this preparation, I used a tea kettle and tea cup, a brandy snifter, a small pitcher of local honey and a bottle of Remy Martin XO, because...

Wow as a guy who has worked with some of the best wines and spirits on the planet….warming a snifter is fine …..honey works with Louis and no one else….? BS a drop of honey would destroy perfection ……I noted where you had it this way …..and it wasn’t in France

I have never seen someone drink a fine cognac like this, at first i thought something around "Heresy! Dilute cognac with some honey! Destroys the complex flavour!" And then i realized that drinking expensive alcohol isnt always just pretending that burning shit is absolutely lovely but you need to enjoy the drink. I will try this, and for gods sake i feel its gonna be huge

No one adds honey to Cognac. This is individual preference of Andrew. One of my friend add $1 coke to this Cognac .... another cheap way of diluting the expensive drink.

I’ve had Cognac served this way a number of times in English country pubs without being asked (without the honey) I think it is a British method for serving cognac in Winter - maybe after a fox hunt or the like. I have not seen it done anywhere else apart from once. In Australia Cognac comes 1 way: with ice. However, I was offered this warmed up version once by a barmaid in Adelaide and when I asked her about it, she told me she had worked in a high end gentleman’s club in London so it may have originated in that kind of environment. Has to be said, it’s a great way to serve and drink cognac. PS keep the bottle from making contact with the glass when you are pouring, it breaks the moment.

I like honey, but I usually use agave for foods like pancakes or waffles, or as a tea sweetener. Should I try using agave with some cheap Hennessey or Meukow? Or should I stick to using honey? I started drinking my tea with agave after I realized it was the main ingredient in añejo tequila, which is absolutely delicious liquor if you buy quality tequila.

I have a hard time accepting the notion that a waiter in Uganda knows more about how Cognac is suppose to taste that the Cellar Masters at Remy Martin. Personally, I think adding chocolate syrup to the finest Cognac would be MUCH better than adding honey. Adding honey to Remy Martin XO is the same as putting ketchup on the finest $1,000 Wagu steak because it's different and you love ketchup. No doubt honey adds to the flavor of the XO, but in no way is the mixture better.
