@@Edward6375 Haha! It’s the truth my bro. We caught so many fish on that trip from 9 to 19 pounds. One day we counted our Peacock Bass and caught 80 of em!

He’s been coming on the boat since he was a pup. Licking the fish is usual, typical & expected. That’s the definition of normal. ✌️

Thanks. They’re actually a Cichlid. They’re not a Bass. They’re just given that name because they’re so fun to catch. We release them all but I’ve eaten them in South America and are delicious. Our water has a very high mercury content so it’s not worth eating them here.

Hey, “Catch & Release” is a type of sport fishing. We were fishing a private river where you can’t take any Peacock Bass out of the river to eat. The Peacocks are the Indigenous peoples livelihood. We ate a lot of Piranha & Catfish on this trip though. Both very good eating.
