What Can I Make?
Germany
Приєднався 6 лип 2022
I like making things. Now, when I'm finally getting space for my hobby, the only question remains: what can I make?
If any of us look around, we'll spot a few things we'd want to optimize: build a storage system in a shop, make a mini-kitchen for camping, or decorate a wall in the kids' room. So that's what I do. I look around, find projects, and make videos out of them.

Makita-Powered Electric Kettcar // Transforming a Toy Car
We're transforming a toy car into an electric vehicle. We install a 36v motor, a controller, a pedal, and wire it all up. But here's the twist that makes this project super cool - we're going to power this car with Makita batteries! Two batteries give us exactly 36v, which means we can quickly take the second pair, and put the first one charing.
Part 1: First things first, I needed to weld a new cogwheel to match the motor. Now, I don't have a welding machine, so off to my buddy's garage we go!
Part 2: We're going to wire everything up and see how this motor is going to roll.
Part 3: Time to attach the motor to our car frame. I've got these sturdy aluminum racks to hold it in place securely.
Part 4: Let's make room for that pedal and get it installed. We're getting closer to that first test drive!
Part 5: The final stretch! We're going to put all the pieces together, double-check our wiring, and get ready to hit the road in style.

Because of love from dad.

You should really put some type of chain tensioner or a way to slide the motor to tension the chain
Good catch! The rear axe has some space to be moved back and forth. I used it as a chain tensioner, but it isn’t on the video.
Great idea, perfect video editing, amazing attention to detail, and, of course, cool master in the frame!
Great job..easy build..will be trying..this will be super useful. Thanks for making the video !
The light at the workplace is great, just use a better piece of wood for testing and increase the testing time. Good luck
Thanks for the constructive feedback. I totally agree about testing. I was feeling the same thing but wanted to finish video quicker and decided not to shoot additional frames. Now I see I should have done that.
It's amazing that before the restoration it still worked. Usually those old electrical things are (obviously) broken. This desk lamp was clearly well cared for.
Fifteen years back no this bulbs
Very nice job!...subscribed..
Almost invisible. Nice work. 👍
Great job. Your passion for restoration shows 👌
Beautiful restoration 😍😍
Excellent job, I think a nature white LED would make it even better :)
👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍🥃👍🥃👍🥃👍
Amazing Good Work
What a wonderful job, meticulous, subtle. The lamp has acquired a very beautiful appearance, and at the same time the spirit of the time has been abandoned. Thanks for the videos, they are inspiring! It's a pleasure to watch you implement your ideas! Super!
I like your idea! I'll try to make the same dryer with a heater. Good luck! And by the way please take care of your fingers! 😊
Nice project. Turned out well. 👍 Respirator is great, but especially with MDF, it will be in the air for a long time, so please consider dust extraction and air filtering. All the best!
Great minds
looks good! did it help?
Thanks. Yes, it definitely improved the situation, but of course it is still far from being perfect.
Is that a kind of wax to seal the wood? Thanks
Yeah, it's basic wood furniture wax. You can also apply wax oil that would give similar effect.
This seems to be the best layout for multipurpose garages with bike storage. Bikes go against the wall nearest the garage door while the workshop goes in the opposite corner away from kid traffic. My setup is the same after three or four major iterations.
Love it. You did an amazing job creating something so unique.
Interesting idea. Excellent directing. Fine music.

👍👍👍
Nice 👍🏾
Buen trabajo

Cool video. A little sad the parrot didn’t get a French cleat mounted to his back…
It's not nice when my viewers feel sad. Stay tuned ;)
Unless you're going to invest in a SawStop I'd suggest getting a featherboard and push stick/block, they're much cheaper than the medical bills from having a finger re-attached.
I think you'll see me using a featherboard in one of the next videos. Thanks for the hint.
Thank you safety Dan...everyone needs someone like you in their life
@@wayneryan6916 there's hundreds of clips showing how quickly things can turn bad if the blade catches the wood in the wrong way, if your fingers are gripping the wood at the time they're going with.
There's always one SSO (SawStop Saftey Officer) in the comment section of anyone that doesn't have a SS.
@@TM_Stone wasn't saying they should run out and buy one, was saying they should aim to keep their fingers as far away from the spinning death machine as possible. Everyone seems to have this attitude of "that'll never happen to me" after doing it for so long and lose respect for how destructive the table saw can be which is why there are quite a few professional woodworkers missing digits.
Could you set it up to do different size circles?
Sure, by making additional holes on the board. I make a new hole for each new diameter. You can also premade a bunch of them if you know what sizes do you need in advance.
И бусы в комплект!!!
Отличная идея! Думаю, изготовлю для супруги нечто подобное.
Fine job!
