Pills did the same thing to me.. the way those opiates effect my body seemed totally different than everyone else. It gave me energy, made me social, gave me confidence, and basically seemed to help with everything. Everyone else they seemed to get sleepy, nauseous, spaced out. I remember the first two pills I took. Once was at work, which made me work twice as fast and efficient. The other time I was hungover and we had like 4 hydrocodone that had been in the bathroom for a couple months. My head was pounding hard. Like one of those hangovers that the smell of just about anything would make me vomit, and my head felt like a hammer trying to hit its way out of my head and went with my heartbeat. Anyways, I was desperate to feel better. I took one of those hydros, and around 45 min later, I felt like I was wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket with no headache or feeling sick. 1.5 hr after taking that hydro, I specifically told my gf at the time, “I could get addicted to these” 25 yrs later and I still have issues with them.
