I read your article and was rather surprised with how you described Kamala Harris. I’m still in disbelief. I can understand your having a problem with Donald Trump, as he isn’t my ideal candidate either……but I can’t help but think that you’re either not digging deep enough into the details behind the accusations made against Donald Trump, or that you’ve got some other dog in the fight that affects your emotions, which has kept you from digging in deeper. Tough to wrap my head around “I'm impressed with how clear and sharp Harris' message has been. She's concise, disciplined, and focused on what matters most. She doesn't take this opportunity for granted and puts in the hard work required to lead the country and be successful.” - unless you’re simply listening to the legacy media outlets and how they’re shaping the narrative. She didn’t win the nomination for the party, and in fact was the first one to bail in 2016. I don’t think she has even the most basic understanding of economics…..things every college student learns if they take an introduction to economics class. I see that you have a strong interest in entrepreneurship, and you know that a basic understanding of economics is essential…..just some core principles. But her response in how to deal with the inflationary increases with groceries and other items is to “price fix”…..? The prices aren’t high because of price gouging, but simply inflation. If you fix the prices that can be charged, then you’re violating basic “supply and demand” principles……no manufacturer is going to continue making an item if they can’t charge enough to recoup their production cost and overhead. I don’t think she’s smart enough to be president. Take a closer look into more of the details behind the claims of January 6th, as well as the 200 people endorsing her and who find Trump “dangerous”. I think weaponizing the DOJ is what’s frightening, and watching the youtube clip of the appeals court dealing with the Trump case that Letitia James championed as her promise if she were elected and the $400+ million verdict…..the judges are clearly not Trump fans, but they are fans of constitutional law and they are chastising that entire charade. If Trump puts an end to all of the insider trading that takes place in Congress or releases the Jeffrey Epstein list, then I think a lot of those 200 (or their friends) will be affected…. But debates about all of this can go on and on, and saying that you can’t vote for Trump is understandable……and I don’t want to be insulting, I really don’t……but I just can’t wrap my mind around your perception of Harris’s attributes, and well…..mine. Maybe I’m judging others as having confirmation bias, yet I’ve got some of my own getting in the way. I’ll try and see how you came to your conclusion about her……but I’m also a proponent of new ideas, and am not easily led. I came to my conclusions based on hearing both sides and then realizing that someone’s not telling all of the details. (Kind of like my democrat friends who never knew that the head of the DNC during the Bernie Sanders/Hillary Clinton debate was caught feeding the questions to Clinton. When accused of doing it, she kept saying “I’m a Christian woman and would never do such a thing……” until she couldn’t deny any longer and confessed. She resigned, but now she’s back in a place of power again…..

In regard to Job, I now think it is important to see the whole book as a prophecy about Christ: initial glory, the sufferings of the Incarnated life, and ultimate, surpassing glory in the end. Not that Job himself is a prophet in the usual sense of the word, but that the book as a whole is a prophecy. (There is even reference to a consoling angel in ch. 23.) Thus, I think this view of the whole is necessary for taking in what the book is trying to tell us. Thanks very much, and God bless.
