More blues on Cort CR-Custom
Переглядів 1016 місяців тому
Just a short blues snippet where I try to play in the style of Eric Clapton and fail miserably. Learnt from Learningguitarnow.com. Not paid for the shout out. With my Cort CR-Custom but half a step down to increase playability and a pitch shifter to bring it back into standard tuning. Whenever there is a recording or cameras around, I get nervous. This was the best of several takes. Perfection ...
Blues. I love the blues. V2

Just a short blues snippet. With my jackson dk3xr but half a step down to increase playability and a pitch shifter to bring it back into standard tuning. Bit ahead of the beat at times. I am sorry. Will improve.

Hey guys, How do I solve the noise issue on the neck pickup of my Cort CR Custom? There is no noise in the bridge pickup. All suggestions, welcome. Kindly help me resolve this issue.

Sounds great!!! Keep the blues alive, my friend!!! New sub here!🎸
Yeah, man!! Sounds cool!!!🎸🔥 Great job!!
GOOD STUFF Siddarth, keep at it, your progress is VERY noticeable and KOOL sounds on this video for sure !!!!
Thank you for the kind words Don! Can you tell me more about the strat you had in one of your videos?
I try to play whenever I can. Like when my son is at school or for the odd bit of free time I get. Sometimes I waste my time and that gives me a lot of anxiety. Anyway, thanks for watching.
@@SiddharthKarunakaran I got that Strat in 1984. My friend in another state got it for me, brand new $199 with a cheap hardshell case. It was built in Japan, had tremolo bar which I lost years ago, never used it though. It had a locking tremolo system, but I disarmed it , didn't like tuning from down at the bridge. I had a friend change the pickguard to black a couple years ago. I should play it more often for sure,
Wonderful
Sorry I missed this Siddarth !!! GOOD STUFF and VERY KOOL effects, don't reconize that guitar, NICE !!!!
Thanks for watching Don!
I really enjoyed your rendition 👍7 🎸🎶👏
Yes!!:) This rocks!:)
Well played Man, sounds cool!

This is amazing man!! Brilliant playing!! You most certainly have got the blues! This was awesome :) sweet tone!:)
Sounds great! Skilfully played! 🎸🎸🎸
Great talent and skills ❤
Very good. I liked it
You've made great progress over the past year. May I suggest that you upload some of your videos as "shorts". UA-cam is heavily promoting them right now...bound to get a lot more views. If you decide to make shorts, in the description, you need to put #shorts before the description... so that is the hash mark followed without space, the word shorts. best of luck.
oh, and remember they must be under one minute and filmed with the phone "vertical" rather than horizontal
@@RickMcCargar Thanks for your help. I think it has to be within 90 seconds. Also it will be in vertical format and will detoriate sound quality because I don't know how to use OBS in shorts.
@@SiddharthKarunakaran it's definitely 60 seconds or less. 15 seconds gets the most traffic.
@@RickMcCargar ua-cam.com/users/shortsBk9089RBInE?si=IK3lRArYOPQKUoJi
@@SiddharthKarunakaran your description for that video should read: #Shorts Just a short blues snippet from Andy Paoli I have been working on.
Fantastic performance, well played, enjoyed it, subbed, great work!
You aren't too bad yourself. One day I will learn to improvise like you.
Thanks for the kind words.
Very well done. Love the bends.
I can hear it you love the blues ❤ love listening!
Very good
You're making good progress Siddharth!
Nice to see you here Rick! Keep the music alive! Thanks for the kind words.
Excellent
Very good
Hi bro. Was searching for CR CUSTOM videos and came across yours. I read your comments that Custom is a bad guitar and CR300 is much better. Based on the offical specs I assumed that Custom would be an upgrade over CR 300, Custom has kluson tuners and tonePros bridge and tailpiece and Seymour Duncan pups. But seeing your comments I'm confused. Is Custom really that bad? All the other reviews i have seen are praising it. I myself was planning to get a CR300 then i found out about custom.
Hey bro, as per my experience with cort cr series, I would say custom has better quality parts as you mentioned but that doesn't make it a better guitar. The one I bought had numerous fret rocker issues as in the frets were not level and I had to learn how to do that by myself. Also, it had the electronic issues as mentioned in this video and I have bought all sorts of pots and knobs to correct it as I gave it in my local music store and they made a mess of it so I have to do the electronics overhaul by myself. Just waiting until I can get a bit of free time. Also, it is pretty redundant between making a decision between the cr 300 and the cr custom as custom production stopped a long time ago and you can only get it second hand. Which I don't advice you do or you will end up with a bad apple like me. So you have no choice but to go for the cr 300. It is a better guitar but its tuners are not as good. Pickup wise, it has more clarity thanks to it being active. I don't find a difference between the bridges and the tail pieces. Anyway, as I said, if you want to buy new, then you have no choice. And I would strongly advice against buying a used cr custom. Especially not without being able to play one first.
@@SiddharthKarunakaran Thanks for the detailed reply. I will go with a CR300.
classic blues guitar, classic bluesman! thanks for the review!😊
Hi, great playing! Thx for subscribing to my channel!! What amp are you using? Play those Blues!!!💥💪👍
Thank you. I am using Blackstar Silverline 100W Head and matching cab.
Please give some pointers and tips on how to improvise the blues. Because I checked out your channel and you seem to be very good at that. You also seem to be using triads to make it sound cool. I don't know how to improvise. I just memorize and regurgitate solos that other people have made. Please help if you would be so kind, sir.

Really a good one brother 🙌🏼
❤
I'm also trying to buy the cort cr custom. How is it bro?
Out of production. Not good. Don't buy. Even second hand. Pots cheap. Wiring questionable. Numerous dead frets everywhere. Don't buy.
@@SiddharthKarunakaran How about Cr250, cr280 and cr300? U have any any idea about these guitars?
@@dingding70743They are all fantastic guitars. Worth many times over their price. Can't go wrong with them. I have 4 electric guitars and my Cort CR300 will always be no1.
@@SiddharthKarunakaran Yes Cr300 is a great guitar. But my problem is it came with only one colour. If not I would have bought it
@@dingding70743Then you can always go for cr250 or cr200 as the color you prefer. There is no cr280. Go for it. All the models are good only. Unless you get a b stock
At least this time I remembered to zip up my pants!
Super ❤
EXCELLENT Siddarth !!!! Fairly flawless playing with a clean tone setting. Not easily done dude . BEND THOSE BAD BOYS !!!!!
I'd pay to watch this! Excellent stuff Sid 🫡
Are u still playing with jackson dk3xr ? If u playing, can u play some blues for me ? I'll buy that guitar in several days, but i never heard some blues from that beauty. Greetings from turkey Siddhar !
Please don't buy Jackson Dinky DK3XR. It ain't worth it. The guitar doesn't feel right. Save your money and buy some other type of guitar. That's my 2 cents. It is not worth it.
@@SiddharthKarunakaran Oh... Gotcha, thank you for information. I have to shop in a physical store in Bulgaria and I can buy the following models with the resources I have. If you had to make a choice, which would you choose? (I wish I had the opportunity to shop from a place with more varieties, but unfortunately not.) -Jackson adrian smith sdx hss -Squier classic vibe 40 sss -Jackson js32q -Fender Squier® Cont Strat® Specl HT -ESP LTD EC-256 BLACK SATIN -ESP LTD Viper-256 STBC Or should I get an affinity telecaster with Jackson js32? Because unfortunately I can't see a decent alternative that fits my budget :( I'm really stuck now.
Sorry for late reply. The ESP LTD EC-256 might be good. But I don't have first hand knowledge of any of these guitars. Cort CR-300 is the way to go. But if they are out of stock then bad luck. Whatever you do don't buy Jackson or Squier at this price point. Never heard of a classic vibe 40 though. @@rivesenity
So which one did you buy? Tell us. @@rivesenity
Siddarth, I know nothing about anything tech wise but I reached out to a GOOD friend from YT that works on ALL of my guitars. Here is his assessment. " My guess is that his neck pickup isn't properly grounded. That would explain why he doesn't get the noise when the bridge pickup is engaged, but the middle and neck get it." GOOD LUCK!!!
What a noisy video!
did you check to see if your switch wiring came undone re ground?
@@RickMcCargar Hi Rick, nice to hear from you. I broke the wiring in an attempt to fix it. Will have to take it to my local music store and let them fix it for me.
@@SiddharthKarunakaran good time to buy a soldering iron and some solder, and learn to repair your guitar!
Nice playing freind, Cort makes some sick guitars
Thanks a lot. That's true.
Very good.
Thanks father.
