The camera may suffer from an electric fault in the camera ? You could try replacing the batteries and the button battery for the AA batteries to try rechargeable batteries.if still no help trying moving the battery cover door back and forth while the camera is on.This may remove the faulty battery warning?.as far as I am aware this is a common fault.

Hi there the flat battery is the date battery.Have you tried rechargeable batteries does it still show an error.did you buy the camera off the other people? Did they say it was fully working.where did you get the camera.

@@JAKEJIM12 the batteries i tried were rechargeable! got it from a friend's family who didnt want it anymore. they said nothing was wrong with it until they tried opening it and it was just the battery error.
