Hi Jamie, we are sure you will love your upcoming Cruise to the Fjords; it's a stunning place. The currency in Norway is the Norwegian Krone, and we mostly used a credit card to purchase anything we required once we were over there. Just a tip, do not use a debit card, as they is a transaction charge for each purchase. We did not have this with a credit card. Let us know how you get on and have a great time! Take care

We agree, we loved Ranworth, and that was the first time we had been. It's normally quite tricky to get a mooring there because of its popularity. We hope to visit it again one day! Take care

Last time we were at Ranworth (May '23) - the charges for mooring at Ranworth were £5 from 10am - 5pm or £10 if you wanted to stay overnight (with water included in the price). Hope this helps - assuming nothing has changed since we were last there. Take care

Hi Alison! Thanks for the comment. We were absolutely the same, before we went on our first cruise, we were addicted to watching UA-cam Cruise vlogs. I bet you cannot wait for your cruise in April - are you heading to the Fjords? And is it on Iona? No matter how many vlogs you watch, however, it never quite prepares you for what you see in person. We use a GoPro and a DJI Pocket.

Hi Ratman, agreed, as mentioned in a previous comment, we did advise about their mooring blocking the cut. Unfortunately, we were not in a position to police this further. We found it interesting that a BA Ranger passed and also saw this without any further action. In our opinion, we don't think this was done deliberately to cause inconvenience to others, but you are right; not good Broads etiquette!

Thanks for your comment; sadly, we do not seem to have any control over the adverts that sometimes run before our videos start or even in the middle. Neither of us are very tech-savvy, so do not get why some videos have adverts and others don't. If it's any consolation, we often feel the same as you, especially when watching other UA-cam channels. Sometimes a 'skip' button appears whereby you can skip the adverts in question.
