The Alaska has been overpowered by missile destroyers and submarines now.

From the modules you can see, it's: 4 Mega Pulse Lasers + Bastion in the highs with 3 utility slots. Looks like auto targeter and 2 tractor beams, but put whatever you want there. Mids are MJD + Tracking Computer + 2 Large Cap batteries Lows are 4xheat sinks, a large armor repper, reactive armor hardener and multispectrum energized membrane. All T2 will work fine, and you don't need much of a tank if you MJD away and snipe from 100km with scorch. Upgrade to faction modules as your wallet and risk tolerance allows for, but I'd say damage mods > tank mods when going faction. I also could see an alternative with 2 tracking computers in the mids since you don't really need to be cap stable with the tank since you'll probably rarely use it. Finally, rigs. Like the faction mods, I'd prioritize damage. In this case you want to focus on increased optimal range to really make the "short range" pulse lasers work at 100km with scorch. Being able to apply full DPS out to 100km is often more important than increasing your raw DPS since it's rare for missions to always be in brawling range. If you're happy with your damage application, hyperspatial rigs will help, especially if you often get missions 1-2 jumps away from the agent. Warping there and back faster is part of the completion time just like higher DPS.

It is not an easy ship to play. I bought it when its price was very low, around 11,000 AC. I may sell it when the price gets high again and buy another ship.

I agree. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to move in between the islands in the Iowa on this map, which incidentally I really hate.

In my opinion, the Alaska seems better. It has higher calibre guns than the Scharnhorst, which is always a plus. I only have the Alaska so I can’t say how good the other ship is in battle. But I am having a lot of fun playing the Alaska.

How long did it take just wondering because that ship looks awesome can’t wait to grind for it

@@cylinder7186 it took me about 10 days to get from level 1 to level 19. I just played ships everyday and not tanks. I am now playing tanks till the new ships are released.

I am using the recording feature that came with iOS on my iPad Pro. Swipe down on top right where battery charge is indicated. In the drop down menu the recording button is at the bottom.

The Arizona is a good premium ship for grinding XP and credits, in my opinion.

@@NAVYMW900 the Fuso is a good ship no doubt about it. My personal preference is for the Warspite as it suits my aggressive play style.

@@NAVYMW900 from the stats alone, the Fuso has more main guns than the Warspite but of lower calibre. It also has more crew but lower calibre secondaries. However, that does not mean it is better or worse than the Warspite. I’m afraid I can’t recommend any particular ship as at the end of the day it is down to personal preference and skill level. Even a person with good skills can make a bad ship work. I would suggest you check out videos of both these ships and then decide. That is what I always do when I have trouble choosing a ship.
