This channel is for my love of music. That includes DJ and creation.
I started mixing when I was a teen and continued on till my late 20's. I stopped doing it for a while after I sold my turntables and focused on other aspects of my life.
After buying the Numark NS7 and posting a few videos I started to get that craving to start mixing again, especially from all the (mainly) positive feedback I have received over the years.
I haven't posted many videos in the past year due to computer problems but that's about to change in a little while.
I also can't be sure if my mix will remain posted with audio due to copyright infringement.
I do not earn any ad revenue from my videos.
I know my mixes aren't perfect but I strive for perfection and hopefully I will reach that perfect mix one day.

My favorite beat so far. It has an Old Skool vibe to it that I just love. It kinda reminds me of Marly Marl's.. "Marly Scratch" because of the snare rolls. This beat almost didn't happen because of the sample I was using which is the Orchestra stabs. I was just not getting inspired by them, so they just sat on my HDD for a couple of weeks until the light bulb switched on.

With this beat I tried some instrumentation to give the track more body. Working with samples can be a blessing and a curse when you haven't figured out how to manipulate them to the way you would like.

This was straight out of the Maschine sound library. It is definitely lacking a strong kick drum IMO but it was fun to make. I am still learning and trying to grow.

This is a rearrangement or remix of the demo called " A Feel Right Slap". The original version does it no justice. This version highlights all the cool nuances and effects IMO. I've owned Maschine since around 2011 but never really used it much until recently. A friend of mine bought the Studio version and he inspired me to dust off my MkI and start using it. Expect more beats.

Roland SP-404 - Old Skool Hip Hop Beat

This beat was made with the Roland SP-404 and I used samples from (Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes - I Miss You) Also (Justice - Going Way Back) I found the Roland SP-404 was not that intuitive. I also tried the Roland Sp-555 with the same frustration as the SP-404.

The very first beat I made with Fruity Loops a couple of years ago. Since then I've used other software and hardware to produce beats and I will eventually upload all of my attempts at trying to make beats. This isn't a very good track but I was still excited that I put something together at the time. I wouldn't even know what to classify this song as? Cheese!
