Giant Bull moose at camp again
On the first morning I got up and this bull moose and cow were there. Then the following evening they came out much closer to us. Nice bull just a little early for me, warm weather yet. Mid to end of September be cooler weather and perfect for me.

Morning of last day 9/30/23! We were chopping wood for fire after setting up camp night before. heard the grunting down and across, he crossed the river and behind camp! Calling a prime bull moose in for a clear, clean shot. 1 shot with a 6.5 Creedmoor. We called him from a mile away and it took him 25 minutes to reach us coming in just yards away. September 30th, closing day hunt.
Would love a set of antlers or sheds for my cabin anyone know of someone i could get them from?

I saw when you posted this in the local Facebook hunting pages! Stud bull. Was this a harveat ticket?? Draw?? Native land? Attempting to find a big moose isnt easy, let alone one as big as THIS bull
@@tylorbyington7602 it was a harvest tag in a general moose hunt unit. I knew this bull from buddies sheds and my own sheds, 1 sighting the year before as well

I gotta ask. Why did you use 2 different types of ammo? That is highly uncommon.
I never used the Barnes ammo before, but I know that the Aguila FMJ (loaded second here) has the knock down power that a Barnes TTSX does not have. Refer to my previous moose kill video 2022, with the Aguila FMJ
