How to make a pool noodle gecko | giant pony bead gecko
For all the 90s kids (and more) out there! Pony bead gecko keychains were a craft from my 90s childhood, but did they ever really go out?
I’ve brought this favourite craft back in a giant version (think art attack), made from pool noodles and it floats!
This #summersiy has gone viral on my social media and I’ve been asked to share a slower step by step version, so this is it!

    I made two geckos and a dragonfly 6 years ago (at 17) 😅 the geckos are functioning as zipper pulls in my three-ring binders, and the dragonfly is hanging out on my keyring

      i think this actually comes from kandi, which is made by pony beads, so you could actually search up a tutorial for a kandi lizard and just do that but with just pool noodles

    This reminded me of one of my favorite books- Hell Followed With Us. Absolutely amazing and in it the characters make kandi lizards/geckos, one of them uses it as a sensory tool due to being Autistic and at the end they kind of become significant! Absolutely amazing book! I would read the trigger warnings before reading it though

    If your water is hard no egg shells

      If your water is acidic just add egg shells to dissolve. But check to see if your veggies get stressed with too much carbonate.
