She really is. Toya was supposed to be my elderly mother's dog, but my mother could not look after her. So she came to stay with me and she never left. It is a lot of work keeping up with them all, especially with Reign now being disabled and needing SO much constant attention. That said, I will persevere and Toya is a permanent part of the family. I love her to bits!

Thank you for this insightful comment. I hadn't really thought about things in that way. And it is true that I have been making things look easy when they are not. I've had to sacrifice a lot to be able to take care of Reign. I've spent most of my life savings on astronomical vet bills and expensive medications. I've even had to drop out of college in order to care for her. But, I hadn't really thought of using the channel to generate financial help. I just thought I would make a library of memories of Reign that I could look back on. Again, thank you for this comment. I will put some thought into what you've said. I just want to always remember Reign in a happy way, but I do know that she deserves support that she has never really received😞

Hi John, I just so sorry to hear that you have recently lost Barron. It sounds as though you gave him your all right up until the end. That is a beautiful gift. I know there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel any better. I lost my 13-year-old dog, Bella, last June and it has taken me over a year just to be able to look at her photos. I miss her every single day and I always will. Grief takes time. But, I suppose, none of us get out of here alive and I truly believe we will see them again when the time is right. Loads of love to you from Reign and Clare.

Yes, she was very unwell. Fortunately, she is feeling loads better now. She starts hydrotherapy next week, so hopefully she will love her new 'hobby'. We shall see!

Yeppers, she loves her wheelchair. Not all doggy wheelchairs are created equally and this particular one comes with a hefty price tag, but it really is fantastic and has made her a happy dog again.

Hi Jeanne. I'm so sorry to hear that. Reign wears thick anti-slip socks. The socks work very well in protecting her paws from injury and provide excellent grip. In Reign's case, boots have not worked well for her so I've given up on boots entirely.

Thank you for this comment and suggestion. I'm located in the Scottish Highlands so we are hardly on the cutting edge of Veterinary Medicine here, but I will certainly be asking her vets about this. I may contact the neurologist about this also. It's an interesting thought - I'll definitely be doing some research on this. Thanks from Reigny and Clare.

Aww, Dora sounds incredible to have lived to be 14. That's amazing! I'm sure you miss your angel. Reign has been with me for 10 years. I brought her with me across the ocean from the US to the UK, so we really have been on a journey together. I'm fighting hard to save her life and get her stronger, but also trying to make her current disability feel OK too - even though it's not really. Thank you for your kind words and thanks for watching Reigny's channel.
