This things sucks ! What the hell ! You need to make this better to change !!!!
Where can i find the details of the "separate instructions" mentions at 3:09
Any advice for solid orange light? Lights turn on fine, green lights on battery turn on fine. Engine may start for a split second then shut down quickly with a solid orange light.
Orange light represents Overload. Main Electric Assembly or Self-Propel may defective depend on which feature you activated.
@ for my 2130, it’s solid orange which shows a thermometer? But it doesn’t have self propel. The headlights work. The engine starts for a split second then shuts down the blade. I tried taking the blade off to see if it was under too much load and it still gave me the light.
@@CareySalander The orange light only indicates the mower is overloaded, not the thermometer, like a fault code. As it doesn't have a self-propel the main electrical assembly is likely to be defective. You can contact EGO customer service for assistance.
@ do you happen to have a video showing a diagnostic method for the switch assembly in the handle? There’s a small board in there and I have a gut feeling something isn’t quite right. Went through the whole diode diagnostics in the motor and main PCB compartment and everything is good.
@@CareySalander The only method to diagnose the switch assembly is the cross check. Replacing it with a new switch assembly.
Forgot check if display works before putting back together 😂
One little hint when unscrewing the blade guard, just unscrew the screw till the guard detaches on its own, no need to pull on the guard. Ask me how I know😂🤣
Does anyone know if other company car wash attachments would work on the Ego pressure washer? Like maybe Karcher rotating soft brush or rotating noodle glove? I called Ego and provided feedback. I would buy this if they sold car wash accessory attachments. Soap dispensing rotating soft bristle brush and wheel rim brush for example.
Should of watched this video before making my attempt. 😅 Removed all the unnecessary parts before and lost a nut in the process. Thanks for the video!
Hmmmmmm 😂
If the lower guard is broken you will not be able to get a replacement. It is a discontinued part.
Check out part list @ www.skil.com/10inch-dual-bevel-sliding-miter-saw-ms6305-00/
Part #2826622304
I just bought one and wanted to double check that the blade was properly installed before the first use. I loosened the blade-bolt-cover screw per the directions and this video. I had extreme difficulty getting the blade-bolt-cover to move counterclockwise even though my screw was even more loose than the screw in the video. Now that it is rotated to where you can replace the blade, it will not go back to its original position.
Hi there, please clamp with sharp-nosed pliers where the hand is held at 1:24 of the video and turn the blade-bolt-cover firmly clockwise
I just bought this saw. Brand new, not even powered on. Want to change the blade to an 80 tooth. I loosened the blade bolt cover screw per the directions, but I cannot get the blade guard to move back. I called SKIL for support, not much help there, other than to take it to a SKIL service center. Any ideas?
@@DavidGenrich I was eventually able to force mine back into place after much effort, force, and a little gear oil. You might try that. Either that or return the product as defective. I certainly thought about doing that. It should not take near the amount of time and effort to change a blade.
@@DavidGenrich I jiggled that little black plate back and forth over and over again and eventually it flipped up. Then to put it back, I had to hold that black plate down into place while tightening the screw.
@@wesbaumguardner8829 @steetsbolt I tried WD-40, I can't get it to move at all. I can't wiggle it, since there is no play in it - almost like it is glued, or painted, to the motor housing.
Thank you. Every product should have a user friendly video like this, I hell as don't like flipping through the Manuel
God only knows why they put the bolt behind that plate. I swear the people who design these things put random bullshit in just to piss off contractors
How do you replace the rear brake disk
What a contraption.
What size quick connect is spray cannon
Can you just keep the old oil cup? or is there a reason for changing it
....and once your replace the rear wheel tire....hey you have 1000 free screws since you forgot where they were to go!
All that to replace a freaking tire 😳 people should see this before buying this kinda crap🙅
That tire will last a verrrrry long time. I agree this is a pain, but it's not exactly complicated. Have you ever seen how you need to replace the drive belt on a Harley? The air filter on most modern bikes? If this seems daunting, hiring sombody to do it 3x over the next 10 years this bike might last, isn't that big a deal
The motor is in the tire, so there's no chain running through the bike. It's a trade-off. Makes it light weight, it requires less maintenance, and it creates more space for storage. It just depends on what your preference is.
Why? Unless by replacing you are now able to run 3 batteries. Otherwise pointless
Ugga dugga
Thank You!
Ohms not Volts.
How to remove the blade nut? All the tool Skil sent to remove the blade nut is doing is striping the nut. As it is, the miter saw is usless
When taking the blade off, make sure you are untightening the bolt clockwise. Note,,, "This is Not righty tighty, lefty loosey"😉
What are the part numbers for the brake pads?
Front Brake Pads (1 Pair) 2851238001, Rear Brake Pads (1 Pair) 2851241001. You can always check out the parts diagram from: egopowerplus.com/mpattachment/file/download/id/3421/
My rear brake pads kind of scrape on the rotor.. I’m think the brakes aren’t straight or maybe to tightened ? I bought it brand new
How often should I replace
Can you twist the grey portion motor which moves up and down for storage a full 360 degrees?
Nope.
Can you twist the grey portion motor which moves up and down for storage a full 360 degrees?
Nope
Do these go bad a lot? This mower just came out.
Great videos gentleman! Keep it up
Can you make a video showing how to replace the rear wheel safely please!? Considering that the motor is in the rear wheel

I get a "device is busy" on my EGO Connect App when connected to the TR4200 over Bluetooth and attempting to update the TR4200 firmware. What does that mean?
I think I've had the same problem. Did you call the customer support?
Make sure the tractor isn’t fully powered on (Do not press and hold the power button to turn it on, just quick press the power button once). While it’s off, quick press the power button once to display the battery percentage; try the update when it’s in that state.
Does the EGO Connect App need to have an active Internet connection while updating the TR4200 over Bluetooth?
Exactly. You have to download the Firmware first.
So helpful, thank you so much!! I hope your working on the rear tire replacement video!! Thanks

@@trainingvideos4695 Thanks
Lol, don't tell me you can't just make one bottom instead of all these complicated steps. Lol 😆 now I am really thinking about buying the Toro 2-stage electric blower instead.
Thank you
How do you tighten the chain?
Looks he just kept twisting the green knob until the chain was tight.
Where do you buy the replacement cable? What is its part number?
Please check out here: egopowerplus.com/mpattachment/file/download/id/3554/
@trainingvideos4695 Can I get the cable Diagram for the Z6 mower please
@@briankohlenberg please reach out to EGO Tech Support Team. They will give you the file you need.
Can you add dual blades to this mower?
Nope.
@trainingvideos4695 Wow, their most expensive walk behind is a single blade with the most torque and non whining self-propelled. Hard pass, single blade is trash. Ty
Why are my blades black for this model and not green like yours I wonder
Very cool video, I loved it!
Nice!!!!
Don't understand why you have to take the inner washer out, then put it back? Why can you just take the outer washer and blade, then put the new blade, outer washer and tighten it in place?
I don't understand this either
I thought the same thing, I didn't do it
Heyy, I am a 6.1 feet tall, is this too small for me? Or I can ride it easily?
I highly recommend trying it out at the shop
Nie wolno uderzać młotkiem. Klucz imbusowy trzeba przymocować do imadła , a wkrętarkę ustawić na wiercenie z blokadą sprzęgła. Siła silnika wkrętarki wykręci uchwyt wiertarski.
Thanks a million, it was simple and direct to the point.
