Every time that I'm close to relapse I listen to this song and remember all the pain I've been through. I watched this movie every time that I was high and felt so close to both of them. RIP Heath Ledger <3

Definitely among the best covers, but why only 2 verses?? It really feels incomplete without the 3rd verse.

As good as this movie was, the book is amazing. (Candy by Like Davies). The movie, gem that it already is, cut out a lot of the best bits, and a lot of the exposition and sacrificed the (even greater) tragic, beautiful, unsettling impact it could have had. I get why they did it, and I’m grateful we got the movie we did, but read the book if you possibly can. It will have you hilariously disgusted at times, and other times you’ll have a hard time telling between tears of laughter or heartbreak. It just hits different from the movie. To anyone with a loved one going through opioid addiction, it may give you some perspective and some answers. Caution to those who have moved past the opioid addiction life-severe trigger warning. (Also, I think this is my 2nd favorite version of this song; first place goes to Buckley singing it on the Monkees tv show).

This movie is so personal to me as I overcame my own struggles. Its deep and intense and I can remember when Heath died....it broke my heart. I would watch this movie and just cry. And I can't hear this song without thinking of him. 🖤 the wonderful Heath Ledger
